I just said goodbye to my Series 9 after 11 years! Yes, 11 years of use. Still a little bit left on that one though. The new one I bought, the Series 9 Pro, seems to provide a smoother shave so far, and much happier. The 1st charge took 17 days of continued use, and next also similar days, which seems impressive. Shaving is smooth and better than 9.

Wow, this electric shaver from Braun is a beaut! It delivers one of the closest shaves I've ever had. It leaves my skin feeling so smooth! No razor burns, no nicks or cuts, no bumps and no stubble. Just a fine and clean shave every time! I'm left with that fresh from the barber type vibe after each use. The head glides and moves along with the shape of your face / neckhe precise trimmer allows me to shape my beard, sideburns and stash with ease. It feels very comfortable in my hands. It's lightweight, but solid. Really feels like you're holding onto a fine piece of equipment, because thats what it really is. There's so much technology that goes into this thing, it's crazy. It charges quickly and the battery lasts a long time as well. It's waterproof, making cleaning it especially quick and easy. Overall, this is one of the finest and nicest electric shavers I've ever seen on the market! It is on the more pricey side, but it's built to last and with proper maintenance, I don't see myself needing another shaver ever again.

Shaving Nirvana. My Series 9 Pro Plus shaves as close as a blade with no irritation. This baby has cut down my shaving time from about 10 minutes a day—to about 3. One of the very finest purchases I have EVER made. Worth every penny.

Gets the job done.
Shaver works ok. Had missed a few hairs laying down and was pulling some hair instead of cutting. Shaving only a days stubble. Aside from a few painful pulls it does a good job of finishing with a smooth shave. Havent had a shaver in years. Always used a trimmer so not sure if a few hairs being pulled out is normal for a premium shaver.

Glad I Switch from the Series 7 to the Series 9
This is review is based upon my first month of use with the new Series 9 and switching from the Series 7 shaver. I am very happy with the quality of the shave. I get a smoother shave as well as quicker when compared to the Series 7 shaver. The shaver head is of good quality and a bit easer to clean with a brush. I have not use the charging case, but will have a trip in February to try it out. One improvement I recommend is that the power button be made more difficult to push in or moved. I have on occasion turned off by simply moving my hand as I shave. I look forward to seeing how long the shaver head will last with a consistent quality shave.

Good but not great
I have used braun shavers for a while now. Starting out with the series 3. I purchased the 5, 7 and now the 9. I honestly always felt like I got an upgrade with a better shave until I got the series 9. It gives an ok shave but not as close as my series 7 shaver. This may be the one upgrade that did not perform as well as the previous. I reached out to braun and did all of the troubleshooting guides they gave me and it still did not give the shave that was expected. I was expecting a lot more with the given price. Good shave but not as close as the series 7

Several steps backwards, will stick with my 790cc
Was given as a present to replace my old 790cc-4. I returned it, it feels lightweight and cheap, the head is far too big, it doesn't fit under my nose. I wish I could purchase a new 790cc, it is compact and slim and is well made. The Series 9 is a step back and is unusable, unless you are Bluto with a huge stubbly face. The design of the cleaner is poor, on my old one I would plug in and leave it alone, when I need to replace the cartridge I just tap button on the side and insert from the front. With the new one I have to pull it out and insert from the back, again a step backwards in usability. I will keep my 790cc as long as possible, unless I can find a new one somewhere.

Poor shave, terrible users manual.
Wow! I am shocked by all the 5 star reviews. I did a lot of research before buying my shaver and bought it based largely on the reviews. That turns out to have been a mistake. I’ve now used by S9 Pro for about 6 months and I have yet to get what I call a “good” shave. No matter how much time I spend, I wind up with patches of hair on my neck I follow the instructions vigorously with no noticeable impact. The “users manual” is for all practical purposes, useless. The chat “help” is similar. All you get is a canned response that rarely has anything at all to do with my question or problem.

Good service, great razor!
I upgraded to Series 9 after using a Braun razor for years. This one worked well until a few weeks ago when the cleaner stopped working. I notified Braun and they emailed me asking for information. Once supplied they sent me a mailing label and instructions about what I should return. It took about 10 days and my razor was returned with a new washer and all cleaned up like new. I have never received such good service from any company.

Razors so reliable they outlast charging stations
It is ridiculous Braun doesn’t include on their website, or in the replacement parts for series 9 razors, any information regarding (Cleaning and Charging Station). The whole item number nor the first 4 numbers, used to order replacement blades, and wash tanks, isn’t recognized. You would think a link to take me to a site for retailers that could help me purchase new station.
