A: It is similar to a tinted moisturizer (though we recommend still using a moisturizer alongisdie it!) and blurs redness while also providing hydration and soothes dry, flaky skin.

If you are very fair skinned like me then be forwarded that unlike hero’s green tinted sunscreen this green turns orange when you rub it into your skin. I love the formula, it really is speeding up the healing time on my breakouts, but when I repurchase I will be buying the non tinted formula.

It does cover my redness but it's way too dark for me to be worn without makeup. I started tapping the product instead of rubbing it and that kept the color from changing dramatically and it actually corrected the redness instead of just covering it. Idk if that's how it's meant to be used or why they made it change color. I used the whole 15ml tube cause it works but I don't intend on buying again.

I absolutely love this. It is better than any green concealer I’ve ever tried. I use it all over my face and it evens out my skin tone and doesn’t feel dry at all. I sometimes wear this only and feel confident enough to not put any makeup on. It also works well under make up. It helps so much with my redness!

I’m not likely the average customer for this rescue balm — mind 50s male. I have actinic keratosis on my cheeks and some redness on my nose from prior mohs surgery. I was self conscious about both of these issues (I’m having them treated professionally). I’ve been using this for a couple of weeks and it completely covers my skin problems, and makes my nose the same color as the rest of my face. It doesn’t show at all either. I only need a tiny amount but I will buy more when it runs out. It works well for me. I guess I’d consider the green correction to be makeup, and I’ve never considered wearing something like this before, but I’m extremely happy I tried it.

This is definitely a more affordable alternative to similar, more expensive products out there. I am impressed by the color correction. The texture is dense, and reminds me of a water or BB Cream. But it is skincare, so it offers ingredients that are hydrating and soothing to the skin. I use this sparingly because of the smaller quantity in the less expensive containers, but a little goes a long way when it comes to the moisture provided. I can say it offers a nice base for makeup.

This is the only one that really works to counteract the redness I struggle with due to rosacea. My nose has always been the worst, it's usually Rudolph the Reindeer red and products don't last because of my oily skin. This product stays in place, even on my nose!! It was still in place after blowing my nose several times!! (Sorry if it's TMI, but it's true, my nose was still covered!!) This is now my Holy Grail product that I will be buying all the time so I'm never without it!! It really works and it's very lightweight, it doesn't even feel like anything is on my skin! I fell asleep the other night without washing it off because I forgot I still had it on! And my skin still looked good in the morning!! I don't even need an actual makeup foundation with this. Maybe just a little under eye concealer.

I've used this for more than a year so I'm finally here to review this! After trying and trying to find either color-correcting products or makeup that covers my old acne marks enough, I always always come back to the Hero green rescue balm. It's just the best option for lightweight coverage that looks like your own skin but that stills covers enough for you to feel good. It also blurs your skin well so for me, it always makes me feel good regardless of how much it covers red acne marks because the blurring still helps my skin look overall better. When you're just tired of makeup, this is literally the best option because you just rub it into your skin with your fingers and you're done.
