    Great desk for a small area

    Easy to put together, bookshelf can easily be moved from one side to the other. Daughter was so excited to have her own desk, she helped put it together. she's 9. Seems sturdy enough. This desk will work great for my children who need a bookshelf in addition to a desk for their bedrooms. I plan on purchasing another one for my son and will watch for it to go on sale again. Since I got this one at a great price I can't see paying more for another one. Don't know that I would call this a work station.

    Poorest quality

    Well packaged with clear instructions. The problem is the very poor quality of the “wood”. After attaching the legs, I turned it and the weight of the legs was enough to rip them out of the desktop. You get what you pay for most of the time and this would have been the perfect size. I was annoyed because I had moved other furniture to accommodate the bookcase/ desk combo. But I knew that Target would accept the return. I used the app to process the return and drove it to my nearby Target. Now I have to find another solution while the holidays are in full swing.

    Much Sturdier Than Expected

    I had my doubts upon ordering this desk because the price was so good. I was expecting something a little flimsier than I really wanted, but couldn't afford anything pricier. I was completely wrong. Though the surfaces are made out of particle board, it is a really sturdy, substantial piece of furniture. The instructions were a little confusing, but I eventually got it together without any help (I'm a petite woman). I'm in love with the bookshelf attachment as it makes me feel like I have a much larger desk than I do. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.
