Truely thought it was user error the reports of the door gap, but I would consider us professional furniture assemblers and could not get rid of the gap, otherwise it’s a nice piece.

Love these. Fairly easy to put together. I purchased 2. One for each side of the fireplace. I feel like one of them the gap between the cabinets doors was wider than the other. You can adjust but I gave up. It’s not that noticeable. But they are beautiful and I love how they pulled the living room together.

Sturdy, beautiful piece for a great price

The design of this cabinet is really nice, and the texture is great as well. I bought two to place behind the sofa, and they look both attractive and functional. The only downside is that the color of the two cabinets isn't exactly the same—one has a slightly grayish tint. But overall, I'm satisfied with the purchase.

Love this! I have had it for over a year to house my kids toys in our living room. It still looks as good as the day we bought it!

I wish I would’ve read the reviews before buying! There is a huge gap between the doors that cannot be fixed no matter how much the hinges are adjusted! I can’t believe target is still selling this, knowing that this is a problem!

We couldn’t even get past step 5- it was like it wasn’t built properly. I had read the other negative reviews but figured other people made it work with the doors maybe we could do it too. But we didn’t get close to the end. We were on step 5 of 38 I think. And it took my husband about 30-40 min just to get to that step. I was so bummed because I really wanted this- I had ordered two. I had planned on originally ordering three but glad I hadn’t. Thankfully, I could just have my husband take them to the store and do a drive up return so he didn’t have to bring them in without help. (We refuse to do the target pick up return option anymore after a terrible experience where they accused us of making a piece of furniture dirty when we had never even taken it out of the box- after many phone calls to hire ups though they finally agreed to refund us though. Just thought I’d share since it seems a lot of people are unhappy with this purchase and I just don’t recommend if you’re returning it, using target’s door pick up return option.

These are so pretty and I was excited to get them in. I ordered two of these and it took weeks to be delivered. When put together, they had a gap between the doors which could not be fixed and they were so wobbly. Would not recommend and plan on returning them.

Huge gap in-between the doors. Impossible to adjust the hardware enough to fill in the 1+ inch gap. I am shocked that Target factory inspectors keep missing this problem with this item.

I wanted to love this and be the lucky one to get one that wasn't a dud but alas my husband got it all together and its cracking on one side, chip in the front edge, and the doors do not fit together - a HUGE gap that sits sideways despite trying to adjust the hinges and add shims. Customer Services offered me 10% refund and then 20% after refusing the first offer OR I can return it to the store fully assembled (which is what we will likely do). I also got it on sale and they said I would have to call separately and my original price was not guaranteed, if I wanted to order another one in exchange. I think I am just going to give up and buy something else with better quality. sigh.

Very pretty but as others have said in their reviews, there’s a huge gap between the doors.

I love the actual look of the cabinet however, I followed ALL the instructions on adjusting the hinges and I still have a big gap between the doors. Also, one package had fiberglass in it so that has been a mess to clean up

I ordered this cabinet to have extra storage upstairs. It took me about 2 hours to assemble by myself, would’ve gone faster had I had help. This honestly looks and feels super high quality for the price. I cannot wait to style it. I got it on sale during Memorial Day- so definitely worth it!

Target is useless in solving problems. The item was delivered to me with a broken hinge. Not big deal, I think. I reach out to have a new hinge sent to me. They respond with “no, we can’t do that. If you don’t like it return the item to the store.” This is after I spent literal hours putting two of these together. DO NOT BUY FROM TARGET.

Gap between the doors!! Disappointed. Install took longer than expected because I thought I could surely adjust the gap. WRONG.

Functionally and aesthetically exactly what we were looking for in our office space. The item was fairly easy to put together. Our only complaint is that the space between the two doors is too wide so you can see items in the cabinet and after MULTIPLE attempts (even taking apart and reassembling) we can't get the doors even.

This is a good quality, easy to assemble mostly solid wood piece. It looks far more expensive than it is when assembled and they included higher quality hardware and hinges than you normally find in wood flat pack furniture. It is worth adjusting the hinges (as is recommended and very detailed in the instructions) to even the door spacing and minimize the gap between doors. Highly recommend!

Loved this cabinet when I saw it a few months back but it wasn’t available. I am so glad I waited, I purchased two and they fit perfectly to anchor my fireplace on both sides. Nice rustic look. Easy to assemble, I did one and my 11yr old son put the second one together on his own. There is that small gap that some folks mentioned but it does not take away from the design or look. The directions also had instructions on how to adjust doors to address any misalignment or gaps. I love it just the same. I highly recommend.
