Trouble getting water up the straw
We just received this water bottle and tried it out today. My foster daughter has been using (and loving) the OXO Tot Transitions cup, and I believe the straws are fairly similar. However, this water bottle seems to be inadequately vented to allow for the water to get up through the straw.

Leakproof straw is wonderful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these cups. It’s the only style water bottle I have boughten for both of my kids for years. The leak proof straw is so valuable and works so well, even when the top lid isn’t closed, and they clean easily. The only negative is the straw cover/top piece can fall off from time to time and it’s hard for kids to get back on themselves.

No replacement straws
I bought 2 of these cups over a year ago, and have been looking for replacement straws ever since. I'm hesitant to use the product as an everyday cup because the straws can't be replaced. The other straw cups from oxo are great. Will the replacement straws ever become available?

Hard for 16 month old
My 16 month old cannot drink from this and neither could we(adults). She was using Oxo 6 oz and wanted a bigger size but this one wasn’t a good choice for her. It is so hard to get the water to mouth!

Perfect! Easy to sip and no leaks
My favorite straw cup for my baby. We have all of the nice, expensive cups (ezpz, olababy) and this is my favorite for the baby! My (experienced straw drinking) 6 month old baby can easily drink from it. It’s shaped perfectly so that my baby can hold on its own as well I read the other bad reviews about their babies not being able to drink from it but that is not the case for us. I’ve tried it myself and it works fine, it is true that you need a strong suction for it so only get if your baby or toddler already knows how to drink from a cup.

We purchased this for our then 9 month old and she couldn’t drink out of it. We tried and couldn’t either! So unfortunate, we wanted a light but bigger water bottle than her Munchkin 7 oz bottle. The latter forms mold at the straw but my husband was able to go in there and clean the crevices that the straw cleaner couldn’t get to. Anyways, back to this one - I would skip unless you see newer reviews promising improvements.

No replacement straws
This cup would be great, except OXO doesn’t offer replacement straws for it. The straw is *similar* to the transitions one, but this adventure cup has a cut-out divot thing in the silicone straw.

Terrible quality, not recommended
I bought it on Jan/2023. After first wash the green bottle start crack on surface and loading colour. How come baby bottle having such terrible quality.

Best cup for 12+ month old!
We love this cup for our daughter! It was too difficult for her to suck from regularly when she was 9 months old, but a few months later she could and this has been our go-to cup for the last 14 months. The base is too large for cupholders, and that's annoying, but it's the only complaint. It doesn't leak, it's easy for any size hand to carry, it can hook onto some things, it's easy to clean, it's durable - but not heavy nor hard, the top swivels to close so the straw is protected and doesn't spray water drops when you open it again (unlike flip up straws), and it holds more water than other cups. We bought a second one!

The one cup that doesn’t leak!! Best purchase I’ve tried every cup out there, I love this one. It is hard to suck out of for the first few times for a little one (under 12months) but using the cleaning bristle a few times it helps loosen it so the flow is faster, if that makes sense.

Do yourself a favor and buy something less complicated for your baby. I was wondering why my 9 month old was having such a tough time drinking from this cup thinking it was because he couldn't create a strong enough suction. I went ahead and tried to drink out of the thing out of myself and it was so incredibly hard to get any water up. In fact, it bubbled up and I ended up drinking more air than water. I tried adjusting it multiple times thinking it was user error but it's just not a great design. Will be returning.

Great cup, one of the first my baby would drink out of
My son loves this cup and does really well with it, it was the first cup he drank from after trying other straw cups and I even asked the dentist what she thought of it and she said it was a great cup (straw cups are best for oral development) I love that the straw tucks away easily so it stays clean. It would be nice if the base fit in cup holders but it's no big deal especially since the top closes and doesn't leak, it doesn't necessarily need to go in a cupholder. I also wonder why it is advertised as a water cup only and if it's ok to put other drinks in it? But overall, I love it and so does my son! Would love if it came in a stainless steel version!

The quality is great and leak proof design would have been great except that’s the flaw! Drinking from it is extremely difficult because the valve is so high up, you basically have to sip from tip of the straw- it’s frustrating. It’s not working for us and I’d return it if I could
