The base appears to be exactly what we needed for our new cantilever umbrella. It certainly holds our umbrella secure in moderate breezes, no strong winds have been evident since making our umbrella purchase. We are very pleased with our choice!

Filled these with sand. That took a little while, but it would have gone faster with a really big funnel and help. They installed and look great.
