Lipper International 15" x 10" Acacia Cutting Board with Cut Out Handle

This cutting board is absolutely gorgeous! The solid acacia wood feels really sturdy and high quality, and the grain is so pretty in person. It definitely has a luxurious feel, way nicer than any other board I've owned. I use it for chopping, but honestly, I love bringing it out when serving snacks, or even dinner because it makes everything look so much nicer. High quality acacia wood cutting board. After I discovered that so many cutting boards have microplastics or lack of durability I switched all my cutting boards in my home to wood. It’s much more sustainable and doesn’t dull out your knives. I appreciate the beautiful wood grain on the board. I like the studiness and the color of this board! It’s been great for smaller cutting like fruit and cheeses and pretty enough to display when serving at a party. One thing is wish was different was that the board was one solid piece. It looks like the board is complied of 3 pieces of wood melded together as seen with the straight line where on piece is darker than the other. But overall a lovely product! This cutting board is absolutely beautiful. I was so impressed with this high-quality item. It looks like something that was completely handmade. It is nice and thick and I really like the saddle differences in the woodgrain as well. I plan to use this as a cutting board and a serving board with cheese and needs I think this makes the perfect charcuterie board and will enhance my dining experience with my friends. A great cuttboard! Simple and chic. Love the curved edges and open handle if we decide to hang it! The wood itself is also so pretty, I love the grain. It is a little smaller than I anticipated, but still big enough to do the job! Another thing to consider - it is not dishwasher safe and does recommend using a mineral oil to maintain it. This Lipper International cutting board is thick and sturdy. It’s big enough for chopping but also small enough to store. I like that it’s made of Acacia wood! The wood stain has more of a yellow tint in person than it does online. I was alittle disappointed in that when I first opened the box but it’s still very pretty! Did you know that plastic cutting boards slowly release, micro plastics into your food as you’re using them? My family and I recently switched to wooden cutting boards and I feel so much better about using these. This is a very thick, good quality and sturdy cutting board. I like having a few different size cutting boards and this is more of a medium size that I would use for my fruits and vegetables to cut up.It’s important that you oil your cutting board off with mineral oil every so often. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this cutting board when it arrived. It is pretty sturdy and heavy, and the instructions say to hand wash with mild soap and water and that it is not dishwasher safe. I was surprised to see the branding on the back with a large made in Vietnam and the logo . Seems like that makes that side of the board less usable, but maybe not there was also two spots that looked like they were filled in with wood filler which seems odd to me other than that looks great. I’ve been trying to move away from plastic cutting boards and this one caught my attention right away. The acacia wood is absolutely gorgeous – it has a really smooth surface. It looks much more expensive than it is and feels solid and well crafted. The size is just right for prepping smaller meals, but I am honestly torn on whether to actually use it for chopping or just keep it on display in the kitchen. It has such a nice natural finish that it almost feels like a shame to scratch it up with knives. The built-in handle makes it easy to grab or hang when not in use.
