Our sweet feral kitty loves it! It's been keeping him warm this winter. The heating pad doesn't get very hot. Once the zipper unseperated, but was an easy fix. Like that it is collapsible for easy storage. Do not plug in outdoors unless protected from weather.

We just bought a house and inherited a really sweet barn cat with it. I tried a few set ups to keep her comfortable when it's cold, but she wouldn't have anything to do with them. I contacted the previous owner of the house and she told me she just put a cat bed with a heat lamp on the patio for her so I put my baby chick brooding heat lamp out there next to this house and since she knew that light meant warmth, she started using it and quickly realized the bed was heated. Now I can put the heat lamp away and she stays nice and warm on cold nights and she stays put in there throughout the night. It's good and bad because she's a hunter and now she's doing less hunting and more sleeping, but at least she's warm and happy.

I bought this for my elderly cat who has arthritis. I set it up in the bedroom, and she absolutely loves it! She won't sleep with me any more because the warmth of the pad feels so good. The heating pad gave out after a month or so, but the company sent me out a replacement asap. So glad I got this for her! I've had her for 17 years and it makes me feel good to know she's warm and comfortable. :)

After about three days Peggy went in very slowly, stayed in, and refused to come out, As soon I got her out, Molly went in. They both love it, and often sneak over to its spot near the fireplace, just to peek in to see if it is free. It is well made, sturdy, and roomy ... not too big or too small. .. reasonably priced as well.. The pillow inside is super downy soft....If I was a cat, I'd pop in the little house for a "cat nap" right now. ..............Me again.. ordered a second "house" today for upstairs! Nice that it is washable..lovely soft bed inside. Climbable outside...lots of fun for active kitties.

Delivery was great. The house itself is not as sturdy as the KH house I already had. The top is soft and has no structure to hold it up if any falls on it. I put it inside of a doghouse to protect it . The electrical cord is flimsy as well.
