A: Hi Cindy. Good morning and thank you so much for your question. Our Westclox 12" Wall Clock will make a very slight ticking noise while running. However, the ticking sound is not noticeable unless your were standing directly in front of the clock or if the area where the clock is located is completely silent. Cindy, I actually have the black version of this clock here in my office and although it ticks it's definitely not loud at all. By the way, this model has become a favorite of many of our customers.
