I used to get these every week when I went grocery shopping. You add it to your seasoned meat in a insta pot and it was super delicious. My favorite was cooked with beef and paired with rice. Please bring these back!!

This seriously is the best enchilada sauce. It makes cooking super easy and tastes delicious. I’m bummed because two of our local Targets no longer sell it. I have to drive a bit to get it now. I hope it’s not being discontinued!!

I used to LOVE this enchilada sauce when they carried it in store. Now when I order it to be shipped they are all expired. They've sent me 4 bottles that expired July 2024. I requested replacements but they send more of the same expired jars. If it's discontinued just say so! Instead of shipping out expired old stock.

I bought this sauce on a whim when I decided to make homemade shredded chicken enchiladas, but wanted to shortcut the sauce. I ended up being pleasantly surprised by how this sauce tasted. It's not super spicy at all, at least not for me and my household. But it does pack a nice flavor. I'm interested in trying one of the other enchilada sauces I saw on my Target run.

Wasn’t sure how to rate this, however I decided to rate mostly on taste. It’s very good, not too spicy, gives that “taco” taste. Next I will prob try the salsa verde style one. However, Target needs to do begged for pick ups. I planned on making enchiladas that weekend, and when I unpacked my pick up order, I noticed the cap was dusty. I knew that couldn’t be good. Checked the expiration date…turned out it had EXPIRED in June (7 months ago). Tried to submit my photo and get a quick refund though the app (plus now I had to either go out for more sauce or put off making them)…and it tells me there’s a problem. Had to call and waste a lot of time just to get a $3 bottle of replacement sauce sent to me. However, it was the principe, and I needed it. Having had surgery, I do a lot more pick ups now and didn’t trust the store to give me a fresh bottle after this. I wanted to one star this BUT I do hate how rating the store workers doesn’t help those wanting a review on the sauce. However someone needs to train these people. I would think a dusty bottle would warrant a second look. I never check the expiration dates, however that was a dead give away. Glad I did! Who knows how long it sat on the shelf during the time it was good.

It tastes 1000x better than canned enchilada sauce and almost like a batch of the homemade sauce

This is my families favorite jarred enchiladas sauce. We loved Frontera sauces but Target no longer sells them, so we gave this a try. It’s become a weekly purchased item. It has deep flavor, the thickness is perfect for enchiladas or stewing meat. It has nice jalapeño flavor without the heat. I would love for this to be spicier but I can add heat when desired.

This is nowhere near a jalapeno sauce. I would also not use it for enchilada. This is more of a bay sauce for like a pork stew. It has no spice at all to it but it does have a good base flavor you just have to add additional spices or ingredients to give it a better elevated flavor. If you're looking for a spicy food this is not going to be it you will need to add additional Chili's to give it a kick.

I used this as an enchilada sauce - basically followed the directions on the jar - and turned out great! One jar was enough for a 13x9 pan of enchiladas - I think I squeezed 13 in there. This sauce tastes much more fresh, more flavorful and just a little smoky - much better than the usual cans of red enchilada sauce I buy. Idk how authentic or anything it is but I felt it tasted great!

As close as you’re going to get to authentic tasting from a Target. Great to have on hand for a quick meal idea-I was able to make a pan of 10 with one jar.

I normally do not give reviews but omg. This is SO GOOD. You’ll never use another sauce. The flavor is absolutely wonderful and full. Zesty, not spicy which I love.

I don’t usually review stuff, but this was amazing! I spread a little on the inside of my tortillas before filling them for enchiladas. Made a really simple enchilada mixture of pinto beans and ground beef, Mexican style shredded cheese. Topped with more cheese, finished with pico de gallo and sour cream. Delicious and so easy! This is so much better than canned enchilada sauce. Would buy this again!

Wow so much flavor and just the right amount of heat! My favorite enchilada sauce! I use it as a dipping sauce as well!
