Expensive and durable!!
I recently bought this Coleman lantern rechargeable. About two weeks ago I fully charged it we use it dead into a discharge and I put it to charge and it won't charge it won't turn on I will not recommend this product again it was expensive But not durable

I sent a message on how to access the base of my lantern Coleman Classic Recharge 800 Lumens LED Lantern, so I can get the USB to USB-C cord to charge. It states on the product description that bass unscrews but I do not see how that is possible. I do not want to force it. Simple question and no answer to date.

Disappointment. Won't Charge After Very Few Uses
After a handful of uses over the course of 17 months, the battery does not recharge. Have tried multiple wires in multiple outlets to no avail. Very disappointing purchase.

Excellent product
Definitely a great purchase ! Very pleased with this lantern. Highest setting has a very bright light which is what I was looking for. Very easy to recharge and a sturdy construction also has a nice large handle. Would definitely recommend this product!

It's a wonderful spring/summer lantern and it doesn't get hot. It may take a while to recharge after you've killed it, but it'll light up your dark area really well.

Love that this is rechargable. great for short term power outs. not having to use fossil fuels or clog the earth with spent batteries is a huge plus. pricy, but with no fuel or batteries to keep buying...worth it.

Worth Considering
As bright as my 45 year old, single mantle, Colman white gas lantern (which still works perfectly). And it can be turned down, doesn't get hot and is instant on. A bit pricy, but you get what your neighbor's vote for. Now, if they could just dump the awful latch and go back to the old style latches on their ice chests...

Portable LED Lantern with great light output
We researched several websites looking for rechargeable LED lanterns. The Coleman Classic Recharge 800L Lantern was the brightest of those in the lumens range we were looking for. It is very well constructed, but even better than the classic Coleman gas lantern we have owned for years.

I love the classic design combine with today’s high-tech lighting. The ladder is substantial, unlike many others on the market so far very happy with it though I haven’t tried camping yet.
