Disappointed with Quality Control — Damaged Upon Arrival

The chess table looked stunning in the product photos, but unfortunately, the one I received was a huge letdown. There were clear quality control issues: One leg was visibly scratched and scuffed (photo attached). The tabletop was chipped along the edge, right out of the box. It seems no one bothered to check the item before shipping. This could have been a beautiful and functional piece, but the damage makes it feel cheap and neglected. Extremely disappointed considering the price and my expectations. I hope the seller takes quality assurance more seriously moving forward.

Quality lacking

Poorly welded together - lots of black rust where the legs meet. Flaking off. Unsightly. Returned Also it was too short for standard chair height. Knees won’t fit under the table

Awful

Brassy gold parts were all scratched up and damaged. Not well packaged either. Don’t waste your money

A lot of defects

Sadly had to return it. It had too many defects, scratches, discoloration on top,. It was very well packed when it arrived though, so it wasn’t damaged during shipping, at least it didn’t seem to. Pieces are made of so they can brake if they fall. Gave 3 stars because color, height were nice. The idea of having a gold chess set was nice:( I wish it was made better.
