It's reassuring knowing this filter is designed to reduce common contaminants, so my family is drinking better quality water straight from the fridge. Installation was very easy, it snapped into place without any fuss, and the instructions were clear. Once it started working, I could immediately tell the water came out crispier and cleaner than before. I also like that the filter seems to last a long time and doesn't slow down the water flow. The water tastes fine and it's easy to put in. Seems to flow well and is lasting at least the usual time as the other ones we've had.

The location of the filter is perfect, the ease of the taking out the old filter couldn't had been any easier. Putting the new one in couldn't had been any easier either. Literally it took 15 second from start to finish. This filter is absolutely amazing. The contaminates it gets out is the best I've seen. It cleans out 32 contaminates! I like thatxit takes out micro plastics, chlorine, pesticides, heavy metals, parasites, pharmaceuticals and more. I can't think of anything it lacks. I definitely highly highly recommend!

All I had to do was turn and remove the old one and insert the new filter and turn it around. The water quality seems clean without any impurities. The flow from the fridge door water dispenser seems normal.

I buy my filters at the big box stores, change them when instructed, and haven't had a problem until now. Installed 6 months ago, usually get a years life out of them with a house of two, and then the water filler inside the door started running slower and slower. Went through all steps, checked hoses, inlet pressure, and lastly, installed a new filter. Yep, plugged filter or something on the filter end, now it flows but I only got half life out of the old one. Disappointing

I purchased my water filter through the whirlpool website. Great difficulty placing the filter into the filter compartment extremely low flow. Customer service is practically nonexistent. I purchased two packs since the filters are supposed to last six months. Was working very well for about a month six weeks and then reduced water flow to a trickle. Took multiple attempts to deal with this online and multiple attempts to speak to a human being. That human being told me that the the problem was a faulty filter and I needed to replace it at my own expense.

We purchased our Whirlpool fridge about a year and a half ago and everything worked perfectly. After our first filter change, it continued to work well. The next filter change gave us good water flow for a month or so before it was reduced to a trickle. We had ordered 2 filters that time, so I replaced it with the remaining filter. Again, we had good water flow for about a month and a half before it diminished dramatically. I understand that the filter is necessary, but they are far too expensive to replace every month and a half when they should last six months. This performance is simply unacceptable.
