Faulty NEW filters
I simply wanted to replace my filter which is done every 6 months. I bought 3 of these same filters to replace the very same filter and not a single one will allow anything but a trickle to come out of my KitchenAid bottom freezer with top side-by-side. I was able to get refunded by my retailer who noted that they have heard many complaints of same. Mind you, I have only used manufacturer recommended replacements. I tried calling to explain the matter - they are insisting that I must have used another filter and damaged my filter housing. This is incorrect, and they insist I now need an appliance repair. This is bogus and attempts to work with phone support only result in circuitous routing to repair. There is an issue with these newer filters...

Overpriced
This water filter barely lasts 1 month of normal use (not the 6 months described on the packaging). The quality and lifespan of the filter has dramatically decreased over the past 10 years.

very poor and slow water dispensing
We have had issues with these filters. The water barely comes out, and we have checked for blockages, water pressure issues, kinks in the refrigerator water lines,, and we even replaced with another new filter. Only a few drops or a very thin stream comes out at a time, We have not had these several issues before. Did they change the filters? Additionally, we entered the serial numbers to find if we did indeed have the correct filter and the model number for our Kitchen Aid fridge did not even come up.

I hope I'm not jinxing it!
I just came onto the website to get information to recommend this service to a family member and saw all of the negative comments. We're a small household that drinks lots of water and we only replace the filter once a year (fridge has an indicator light to tell us when) since late 2017. The water and ice are delicious. The service does exactly what it says - gives you plenty of time to change the subscription if you want to. It does take a little time and effort to take out the old filter, replace and clear the line of air bubbles and maybe a little carbon dust. I never have to do it for as long as the refrigerator manual says. I'm very happy with these filters. I wish there was a recycling option like there was when I first subscribed - my only complaint but I have that complaint with most consumables!

Quality Issue
Up to this point these filters have been perfect. I have replaced the filter twice in the last 6 months because it is not flowing as previously. I have religiously changed the filter every six months since I purchased my fridge, not sure what is going on with the filters. Was there a bad batch or a recall I missed?

Low flow, sounds like jackhammer when dispensing
Have bought several Filter4 in the past, and they worked fine. The brand new filter4 I installed yesterday makes a sound like a jackhammer when we try to dispense, and only a trickle comes out. Never seen this behavior before. We tried running 4 gallons through, as the manual recommends (which took FOREVER), AND STILL HAVE LOW FLOW / JACKHAMMER NOISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Reinstalled old filter and no noise with normal flow.

Trickle down
Bought a 2-pack (first time using these filters) and both of them just trickle the water out. Kept using them because it's all I have and am just going to change to another on my next order. If those don't work then I will quit here and try others.

Great water
Bought a Whirlpool refrigerator over 3 years ago. It works great. Replace the water filter a couple of times a year which is pretty good considering we’re a family of 5. Easy to use and the water tastes great!

WHIRLPOOL SUGGESTED THE WRONG FILTER FOR MY FRIDGE
This was the suggested filter for my refrigerator, that this site suggested for my appliance, and it is the incorrect filter. Now since I attempted to install it, and it clearly is not the correct one, they will not return the 2Pack that I purchased. SO now I have 2 high priced water filters that I CAN NOT USE!!!!! I WILL NOT EVER BUY A WHIRLPOOL AGAIN!

Latest filter unusable.
I’ve used these filters for a few years without issues. The lastest one I received is only allowing water to flow at a trickle and makes the fridge water unusable.

lifespan of the filters got much shorter
After 2month of replacement, dispensing water gets dramatically slowed. Last 2-3 filters have been like this. Don't want to stand front of the refrigerator forever to fill up my water bottle..

Poor Quality
I have received multiple filters with no issues but the most recent one I got has been terrible. I can't get a steady stream of water / inconsistent flow. I keep taking it out and reinstalling to get air or whatever out of the line and it fixes it for a moment then goes back to spitting / gurgling.

No pfas removal
The last filter I received slowed down flow so much we can not use it. Also just noticed a prop 65 warning on it and saw that it doesn't remove pfas

Disappointed.
After installation the filter passed a thimble of water and quit. No water since, even with several reinstall efforts and manipulation. Do NOT purchase this brand. Also, they do not offer a warranty. 😟
