Horrible filter it runs out so fast
It says it’s rated for 200 gallons or 6 months of use. I’ve been in my place for 5 months and have already replaced the filter once and I’m going to have to replace it again because it’s taking 35 seconds to fill 8 ounces of water (industry standard is 8-12 seconds). Worst filter ever and it’s the only one my fridge takes so I’m stuck with this abomination. DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE

Defective filter
I subscribed to get water filters for my Kitchen Aid fridge. The first filter that was sent leaked badly. Returning it is not free! The website makes it hard to return defective parts. Buyer beware!

Water Filter a Cinch to Install
We purchased our Whirlpool Side-by-Side a little over a year ago and have personally changed the water filter twice. The filter is lasting as promised, almost 6 months to the day. The filter reset button appears to be working correctly. We've had no issues with the packaging of the filters as I've seen mentioned in a few other reviews. Water filter installation is so easy; our last fridge had the filter at the bottom of the appliance behind the grill and was a PITA to change. The water tastes great! We're really happy with the quality of the filter.

Terrible taste
Have recently replaced the water filter. When to local store and purchase one ,after installing it the water had disgusting taste could not drink it. Then yesterday went and purchased another one installed it ran two gallons of water out before trying to drink it. It has a terrible taste. Will not buy anymore of the every drop filters.

They don't last
Our old fridge took Filter 4 which worked well, new fridge takes Filter A which is a disaster. Our water didn't change, just the filter system. After 18 mos with the new fridge, I've been through about 19 filters. They start to slow around two weeks after installation and flow is a trickle by week 3, which also impairs the ice maker. I've monitored our usage and we do not use more than 1 gal per day - so these things barely last 10% of their rated lifetime! I've found no similarly rated (NSF 53 + 401) alternatives. Now I'm looking into retrofitting a filter 4 rig into our new fridge, or going to an inline filter and bypassing the fridge one.

Terrible Filters for My Refrigerator
My new home came with a Whirlpool refrigerator using this A size. I had a prior Whirlpool refrigerator that used an Everydrop filter 1 and it worked great. But not this one, the taste of my water and ice is awful, worse than out of the tap. I thought maybe my first filter (OEM, came with the refrigerator and was sealed in the package) was bad so I got another one. Same result. I have a cheap Brita pitcher I'm using for water and it's perfect, so no idea why these filters are making my water taste so terrible.

Not happy
I just bought my refrigerator last November and already asked me to replace my filter when barely I used the ice maker. Got the new filter thru their website and the water flow is to strong that makes a mess and the water is dark.

Better than expected
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised at this product. I only didn’t make the water taste better, but I was surprised that it actually fit in our refrigerator. I’ve always bought the brand suggested, but knowing that this didn’t leak and it has a longer filter life than the product that I’ve been buying I’ll get it again

Doesn’t last.
Expensive for the 2-4 weeks that they work before slowing to a trickle. I am a kitchen and bath designer and won’t be recommending any refrigeration that requires Everydrop filters. Poor design. Alienating to the consumer for locking us into buying filters at such a short interval.

Metal taste

Easy install

Filter doesn't last-something is wrong!?
Something is wrong with the design here—numerous similar complaints on this site. With a family of 4, active water drinkers, we are lucky to get 6 weeks of use before the filter flow slows to a trickle. This last time was the worst; it didn't make it a month, but we have to keep buying because there are no alternatives.

Leaking
I bought a two pack the first one worked without issue, I changed the second one a few days and it is leaking. I removed and replaced it and it didn't leak for several days--then it started again today. Removed it again and inspected o-rings and they looked fine. Expensive filters and now have zero confidence and looking to find compatible replacement.

Filter Drip Leak Upon Installation
First replacement filter after signing up for subscription through KitchenAid. Now considering cancelling after first filter received drip leaked all over the inside of the refrigerator. Old filter reinstalled with no leak but inconsistent / slow water stream. Reading the human written reviews and the Everydrop A filters are a major problem.
