Not at all as advertised, I wish Target would do some basic QA. Highlight and contour are almost the same color. I’m using both as highlighters. The pic shows the contour next to what is advertised on the box.

Color is falsely advertised. The contour color is closer to my concealer, and I'm fair skinned.

The color was not at all what was advertised. The box showed it was a fairly dark brown but the item is super light brown.

It isn't very pigmented. It goes on very patchy. The formula is very chalky/powdery, and just kind of sits on top of the skin. I don't recommend, even at this price point.

Very disappointed. I had high hopes because makeup revolution is so highly rated as an affordable brand. The colors are flat and dull in this combo stick and the texture is extremely chalky. I keep struggling to find affordable option for my Fenty sticks. In general I’ve been disappointed by Makeup Revolution. Everything I’ve tried of theirs is either greasy, chalky or an “odd “ color for me. Just not meant for my coloring I guess. If it helps anyone else, I have been told I have neutral skin tone. I have a medium skin tone with olive undertones (don’t think my photo lighting captured that)

Okay, I know a lot of people don’t like this product, but I really think it’s good! It has lasted me forever and the more I use it the better I like it! The only thing is, I don’t like the high light side I prefer the contour side a lot better!

Bought “light” version of this. Color on the box is WAY darker than what you actually get. The contour aspect is so light that it’s practically concealer instead. Waste of money due to the misleading packaging.

The color they advertise on the box is NOT at all what you'll actually be getting. Their medium/tan is waaaaay lighter once out of the box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My go to for contour after years of trialling other things. Perfect creamy texture. Works really well with revolution contour powder as well. Also, very sturdy so stick diesnt break when being used.

I love the texture of this product. It glides on smoothly and blends in perfectly. I gave out two stars because the color of the product doesn’t match the color shown on the box. I purchased medium and the contour is too light and blends in with my skin tone.

I think this is such a good contour product for those that are looking for something inexpensive and will get the job done. It’s smooth and really easy to blend. The price is great. The only downside (and why I didn’t give 5 stars) is that the color is a lot lighter than what the packaging advertised. Luckily my skin is fair so it still worked but if you have a tan at all, I think I would be too light.

I really love the sticks more than the cream styles. This helps to glide on spots that need it most.

I have Olive skin and bought the medium. Not dark enough to notice a difference with contouring. So I got the dark which was fine for contouring but the highlighter was too dark to highlight. Disappointed

I like the dual ends but I didnt feel like the highlighter was a highlighter. More like a concealer. Creamy texture but probably won’t repurchase. The quality of this brand is pretty good in general.

The contour shade is so light that I thought it was the concealer. Do not recommend

I purchased the light shade since I am fair skinned. The countour end is so light! I could use it as a concealer :-| Would have purchased the medium shade had I know it was essentially skin toned. The consistency is nice but the shade are way off.

So I am 50/50 about this product and here is why: Pros: -Very creamy formula -blends out smoothly -was not patchy - absolutely love the brightening side!! Cons: The shade range is a bit off for me. When I was looking at the packaging, I thought that medium would be my shade because of how it looked in the packaging. But when I was using it, it ended up being the same shade as what I would normally use as my foundation shade, and I was quite thrown off. I usually love makeup revolution products….but the shade range was a bit misleading to me. Maybe I should have played it safe and gotten the darkest shade out of the three, but also it makes me disappointed that for this type of contour stick since the shade range is lacking. I am a medium deep skin town, and I usually do struggle to find a shade that works for me from affordable brands. Anyone can easily tell me to buy a foundation stick that is a darker shade but I don’t want to take away a shade that someone needs it just because I want to use it a different way. I’m not giving this a low review because I was highly impressed by the brightening end of the contour stick. I have found a way to use the medium shade for more spot concealing (with the added combo of another concealer on top of it), so I’m not wasting the product at all. But I feel like a 3/5 justifies what I feel about this product. It’s decent but it can always be better.
