Q: They are very stiff. Any way to make opening and closing more smooth. They get stuck and hard to open and close

Apply a small drop of household oil (like sewing machine oil or even a bit of vegetable oil) to the pivot point. Open and close the scissors several times to work the oil in, then wipe away any excess. Check for packaging residue – occasionally, a bit of leftover adhesive or coating from packaging can cause stiffness. Cleaning around the pivot with a soft cloth can help.
