She likes the cute basketball design on the handles. The handles are slightly bumpy and textured which gives them an improved grip. The thumb and finger loops are just the right size for smaller hands. My hands are quite small, too, and I can also comfortably use these scissors. The pointed tip makes cutting even easier and more precise for older children. I like that the blades have a non-stick coating on them to make it easier to cut sticky materials like tape. These scissors cut very well and I would definitely recommend them to all parents

With a textured grip in a fun basketball design and a non stick coating on the shears themselves your kiddo can cut away all day. I actually use these myself for cutting permanent vinyl and nothing sticks to them! They haven't become gummy and the blades stay sharp. Great for kids and adults alike. Definitely recommend!

They are the perfect size for small hands with big openings for hands/fingers and smooth cut. They are lightweight as well. The basketball color theme on handle is so cute. The boys had no trouble using the scissors on projects. They liked that the scissors were not long. Great pair of scissors well made , works well.
