Beautiful Lateral file & cabinet
Sauder needs to provide STEP BY STEP directions. The videos show small portions of tasks. Most confusing was the drawer & metal slider inserts. Love the completed product!

Really love the look
I purchased three of these cabinets to slide together as a TV stand. I needed the extra depth to accommodate a wider than average TV stand. They were easy to assemble. The cabinets are sturdy. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Good Looking Sturdy File Cabinet
Well made product. Not difficult to put together but lots of pieces so it takes time. Took a skilled furniture assembler about 1.5 hours to put it together perfectly and some good tools. I would recommend this file cabinet without hesitation. Beautiful piece of furniture.

Stylish. Design needs minor improvement for function.
The White Plank finish is stylish. The instructions to build this piece were fairly straight-forward. A minor flaw is the Top Molding L does not sit flush with the Right Front Leg N. On Step 26, it is noted that the drawer will "push in hard until it is all the way in, then it will slide in and out easier." After 4 months of use, the drawer is still hard to pull out and push back in, however this isn't too much of a problem. For design improvement, it doesn't make any functional sense to include the large cable/cord hole port in Shelf F as there is not a suitable office appliance that would fit within the tiny Shelf F space. As this is a File Desk and not an entertainment/media console, the hole port should be drilled into Top C so a printer, lamp, or other office appliance could sit on top of the desk with its cords neatly organized. As is, I cannot recommend this product to a friend, as the File Desk would look better overall if only Shelf F did not have a cable/cord hole port.
