I was a little wary about these because they're a bit expensive, but I did get them on sale and I really love them. The material of the bowls is unique and I wasn't scared to put them in the dishwasher (a major reason I went for it is because they are dishwasher safe). As soon as I unwrapped them, I loved them. I also am really glad I bought the versions with lids, even though I didn't end up using those becuase the dips I put in the bowls were all long gone. I think this would be useful if you are bringing something to a party at someone else's place in addition to being great for storage (and saving you time with clean up). Definitely go for it if you are on the fence!
