Description
Feed all the plants in your garden with Miracle-Gro® LiquaFeed® All Purpose Plant Food. This plant food grows plants twice as big!®* In addition, this garden product makes feeding as easy as watering. Use with all types of in-ground or container flowers, vegetables, trees, and shrubs. To apply, attach a garden hose to an outdoor spigot then connect a Miracle-Gro® LiquaFeed® Feeder to the other end, or attach a Miracle-Gro® LiquaFeed® Universal Feeder to the spigot then connect the feeder to your hose. Insert plant food bottle by twisting into the feeder. Rotate the bottle until vertical and turn the knob to FEED. Turn on the water and begin feeding! Plants should be fed every 1-2 weeks. For the best results, feed plants by applying to the soil at their base, spraying each spot for a few seconds until the soil is saturated. Shake well before each use, and only apply this concentrated liquid plant food using a LiquaFeed® feeder. This refill pack comes with four 16 oz. bottles of Miracle-Gro® LiquaFeed® All Purpose Plant Food; each feeds up to 400 sq. ft. of garden area. *vs unfed plants

Q: Is this good for orchids?

A: Miracle-Gro Liquafeed All Purpose Plant Food is all purpose plant food which may be used on all plants. One 16 oz. bottle should cover 400 square feet. This product can be used for feeding containerized or potted plants. For Outdoor containers it can be applied using the liquafeed garden feeder or sprinkling can using the dosing spoon (regular/outdoor dilution rate). For Indoor Containers it can be applied with a watering can using dosing spoon (indoor dilution rate). Better plant food for indoor use is any of our Water Soluble Plant food as they can be used in smaller watering cans. For Orchids we recommend to fertilize with Miracle-Gro Water Soluble Orchid Plant Food every 2 weeks during active growth period, and every 4 weeks during periods of rest.

Constantly Stops working
I have tried using these for years and always thought I was the problem. Clearly im not. We just ran to the store and bought two more to test compare. The first bottles in each sprayer work great. Then we loaded a second bottle and they worked about 3 minutes longer and conked out mid bottle. Brand new bottles and brand new sprayer. Its time to retire these. Im over them.

Occasionally, product residue can dry out and block the tiny suction hole inside the sprayer connection socket. This product burned my plants!! 3 died!!
The "directions" are not clear, to me. I feel if the only thing I can use to disperse this is another Miracle-gro product, I should have been made aware of that BEFORE buying this. I used my own container. 3 of my plants died from burns from this. It's horrible!

Sprayer is trash
Hand sprayer does not work. I had to buy 2 last year and 2 this year. Same problem. Will not spray. Even though miracle gro works, I am switching brands because of the sprayer. Terrible

The LiquaFeed bottle does not empty! I have purchased 2 miracle grow sprayers but neither fixed the problem. When I squeezed the bottle not attached to the sprayer the product does come out. I would not recommend this product!

Bubbles should begin to rise within the bottle within a few seconds after spray begins in the "Feed" setting. Bubbles are a sign that the plant food is being drawn from the bottle and the system is working properly. Please check to see if this is an issue with the bottle itself. You can do this by pointing the refill bottle toward ground where it won't matter if there is too much plant food (such as gravel area or mulched area without plants). Squeeze bottle until air is heard being squeezed out or product begins to come out. We want you to be confident in our products. For this reason, we offer a product guarantee. Sprayer does not work
I have four bottles to use with the handheld sprayer that came with the starter kit. It does not work!!!! Nothing comes out but water. Took off the bottle and squeezed to see if there was any liquid coming out, nothing. It's like the bottle has never been opened. Not happy with my purchase.

Clogged dispenser?
Bought this at a big box home supply store. Worked for a couple bottles then stopped dispensing the liquid fertilizer. Looking in the bottle of Liquafeed there are small white particles swirling around. I suspect that the liquafeed is old, has created sediment and now has clogged by dispenser. Very disappointing. My 6 or 7 other bottles all have the same sediment.

This product does not work. And this is the 2nd one I bought. Neither one will distribute the fertilizer. Don’t waste your money.

Liquid Feed distributes very little product
Liquid feed bottle shows very little product used after watering many in ground plants and plants in pots. Used this liquid feed with dispenser and hose connected to fill 2.5 gallon sprinkling can and same results bottle shows very little used. Is this correct or problem with bottle top or watering attachment. Watering attachment has 3 settings, OFF WATER or FERTILIZE and set to FERTILIZE.

Worked at first but not over time.
I have three applicators for liquid feed. They worked for a while but not anymore. Very disappointed. I have three bottles of liquid with no applicator and I am hesitant to purchase another. How can I use them now? Please advise.

I should have listened. I saw a lot of older reviews which WERE really NEGATIVE...but I figured "Miracle-Gro wouldn't just leave it...and just keep selling it if it was that bad." Well, I was WRONG! I followed all the instructions...even making the battles were perfectly upright...squeezed the bottles to help prime the unit as was suggested on other blogs...and like everyone else here...NOTTA!!! Miracle-Gro...I have little to no faith anymore! And this at a time where I need it MOST!

Good idea poorly designed
A great idea poorly executed by the engineer/s The unit is almost impossible to keep vertical. And the inlet leaks. Once you get it tight enough to not leak and stay vertical, it will break. I have broken 3 of them so far. Advice to Miracle-gro. Test your products better before committing to production. I guarantee if your owners or board of directors were given these to use, they would also have issues and see what a poor design it is.

LiquaFeed Starter kit garden feeder
Horrible product. Button sticks, so some plants got too much fertilizer. Had to turn feeder away to get spray button unstuck. Grass got fed! Can't read the spray nozzle on which spray to turn to. The writing used to be in black, now I must turn product sideways just to read it. Who designed that?? Once used, I switched hoses to connect to another hose and the Plastic connector stripped and could not use it again because it would not fit on the hose. Anything that even nicks the plastic that connects to the hose, the product becomes useless. Wow, that turned into a wreaked havoc TRYING to use your product.
