Govee WI-FI 32.8' RGBIC Outdoor Strip Light

Several problems with these outdoor lights. They do not hold up to the sun. They start to peel apart the rubber from the light and then once water gets in they're garbage. The controller is not waterproof it's water resistant so a big storm it will burn it up by water getting inside. Also you have to put electrical putty around the connectors the connect the lights to each other. Because the connectors will leak. Really these have a poor design for outdoors.

Like most their products this worked great right out of the box. Great scene options, bright lights, good routine control. Easy to install, 3m tape holding well so far.

My LEDs look amazing, however to sum up my experience the only thing I can conclude is that Govee manipulates it’s customers into purchasing with a low price and purposely withholds parts, instructions and solutions for challenges that EVERY DIY installer will face so that you will eventually throw your hands up and pay for install. My conclusion is Gove is the least of all evils but if you buy plan on sourcing your own supplies including: connectors and wires for spanning gaps, extra glue (glue does not stick to soffit), pre drill pilot holes for mounting clips, better screws for mounting etc…

Lights are great easy to install. Only problem is the sticky tape on back. The lights unstick from surface. Have to retape. And yes did clean surface before applying.

The H6175 comes with a wall wart power supply instead of a corded power supply. This doesn't fit into an in-use outdoor plug cover which is a problem for an outdoor product.

Easy setup

Bought 2 32ft outdoor strips. After 1 day outside, one has a small section that doesn't turn green or blue. Really disappointed.

Awesome lights! Super easy to install, easy to set up in the app. Brightness and color definition are perfect! I installed them around my garage doors.

Very easy install, lights look amazing, stuck on with 3m tape and supplied clips. Lottle difficult to make tight turns but still a great product

I purchased the RGBIC strip lights 98+ feet. It came in box containing 3 reels of lights, the mounting supplies and power supplies. The instruction are very veg. I doesn't really explain how or where to mount power box. The instructions did not explain how to get the lights to work. One must use the App to figure how to work lights. Still the App doesn't explain how to change colors or patterns. The lights do look great once I figured out how to operate them.

Easy to install, user friendly app to create colors. Installed around my garage door. Already had the govee pro lights installed last year.

I like the lights I bought defuser channels to put them in it worked great , one problem make sure you check the lights on all colors because after up I had one 9 light strip that worked only on blue or green which can screw up a solid sequents of color.

Great lights for cost, and can be combined for increased distance. If looking for better light the Govee rope light is superior in every way except cannot combine strands which really limits it's functionataly

I think the lights are great, great functions/features, and they make my home look good. However, I have a funky measurement on my front home with slopes, etc., and unfortunately the light set up does not work perfectly. I would need 4 strings and bought a total of 6 strings (2 x 98') but the power module only supports up to 3. Bummer but I still have them up with a small piece of my home bare.

This outdoor strip lifhts are very easy to install, the glue tape adhere strong to the aluminum siding on my garage door.
