  • A: The CHV1410L32 has a little wall mount bracket so you can hang it on the wall while charging. The CHV1410L does not have this bracket. I love the wall mount.

Q: What is the approximate lifetime battery on this? I have not had luck with these batteries holding a full charge for more than 1 mintue after a couple of months of use. Thank you!

  • A: Thats weird- I've had mine for a couple YEARS and I can vacuum up stuff for 5-10 minutes and it's still going.

  • A: Hello Courtney, I am sorry to hear the CHV1410L is not working after a couple of months in use. Battery operated units life expectancy is 2-5 years. We do recommend to fully charge the unit before the first use and after every use to plug it into the charger and leave it in until your next use. Another thing we have noticed is when placed on the charger make sure the unit is on OFF or it will not charge.   • A: I have had mine for a couple years now and it's 'sucking power' runs a good 10 minutes-steady. It might be longer but I've never vacuumed with it CONTINUOUSLY for longer than that.

Does not last

Love this handheld however this is my second one and they do not last even a year and a half! This was purchased July 2024 and in Feb 2026 it had almost burn up

Love the new style

I have always had a B&D dustbuster and needed to replace mine after many years of service. I really like this new style with the flip up brush attachment. It holds it charge for a long time which is a big plus for me. Slightly heavy but it's just fine. Charges quickly. I would recommend this product

Quit working

Worked fine for occasional use for a little over a year. Today, fully charged, the motor quit working. It started sounding strange, kept going off every few seconds, then stopped coming on. So frustrated. Worst time possible for it to suddenly stop as I need it to clean a particular area (where I can't use a regular vacuum) tonight and tomorrow morning before a contractor arrives to put sealant on a floor. It would be annoying enough if it quit working on any other random day, but this timing just added a tremendously huge extra layer of frustration. SO aggravated.

Pleased at first but soon disappointed

I was actually very excited to get this vacuum. The form factor is great and extendable nozzle is very nice. When I received it I was happy with the build quality but after about a month it began making a very annoying screeching noise. I suspect the bearings were failing. Later it would just seize up. When it started smoking I began to worry it may be a fire hazard. Over all I am disappointed

Brand new out of the box. Charged it up on the base and it only runs for about 5 minutes and then dies. Recharged several times doing this and still no more than 5 mintutes run time. Waited too long to return to Target with their return policy as I was saving it for a X-mas present. Now stuck with machine that doesn't work and hoping B+D can help with either its return to B+D for repair or replacement and without me paying for return shipping costs. I shouldn't have to incur this expense. Hope B+D"s customer satifaction guarentee is still what it used to be. Always had faith in that.
