Great Paddle for spin and control.
I have been playing with this paddle since last March 2025. I like it so much that I bought another one a week ago. I played with the new one and saw no difference from my older one, so i'm putting the new one on hold until I notice a difference in spin rate. Last March I decided to try Pickleball just to see what all the hoopla was about. I like the game and it has grown on me for the last year. Tennis is still my first love, but you can't beat the idea of just showing up and playing pickleball anywhere and at almost anytime. Unfortunately for tennis, you have to plan everything, and if one person doesn't show up, it ruins the doubles match. I love using this paddle for many reasons. This paddle really helps with my spin, as I like to hit forehand and backhand topspin drives, slices, and lobs. I noticed in many of the reviews people are saying the power is not top notch, but being a tennis player I haven't noticed. Also, I can really feel it when I do dinks and overheads. The touch on this paddle is top notch! My doubles tennis partner also is my pickleball partner. Being that, i'm a lefty, and he's a righty, it works great for our game. He is more the "Middle" Specialist since he is 6'-3" tall and has a big wingspan. He uses a 14mm for more power. Don't get me wrong, I like to bang with the rest of them, but for our team it's best if I set him up and he puts it away. Preferably the putaways are 5-hole shots and/or body bags! If you can't stand the heat, get away from the kitchen! Pun Intended!! 🤔😂

Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed experience with the JOOLA Vision CGS 16mm Pickleball Paddle. It is great to hear how the touch, spin, and consistency have supported your style of play and your transition into pickleball over the past year. Sounds like a strong doubles partnership, and we appreciate you bringing some humor and personality to the JOOLA community!

Great Paddle
The paddle is great, I find it very forgiving while still giving me the power I want when needed. Very happy with the paddle.

Great Paddle
Played with this for the first time today and it is a fantastic paddle. It had a nice long handle for 2 handed backhands and is very easy to put spin on the ball. Great intermediate paddle!!

Great paddle and I highly recommend
I have been playing with this paddle for several months now. The texture wears down at the rate of similar paddles, but it has a good sweet spot and good power. It's a perfect paddle for an intermediate 3.0-4.0 player, and I highly recommend it. Seems very durable and has held up well.

Pretty darn good paddle if ya ask me
I bought this a few weeks ago, and its been a great paddle. Very light, and lots of grip. Compared to the JOOLA Ben Johns Hyperion CAS 16 Paddle (which my neighbor purchased, and that I was looking into before I found this) its a tad lighter, and the handle on the Vision is smaller in diameter. I'm a young guy and I much preferred the less thick handle, however my neighbor said that since he's old he like the thicker handle. Just something to be aware of if you're looking to buy one of these paddles. Otherwise it has thus far been really fun and easy to play with. Also, because the handle is made of a leathery substance, my hand gets really sweaty fast, even though it has the perforations.
