The current model includes 8 lighting modes, some of which do have faster flashing patterns that may appear as strobe. If you prefer a calmer effect, you can press the small mode button on the controller until you reach the “steady on” or “slow fade” setting, which offers a softer, more peaceful glow. The light will stay in that mode as long as it remains plugged in.
