Both my 1 year old and 4 year old love this toy. My 1 year old however likes seeing what can fit inside of different things, and for some reason this gum ball machine has a hole on top way bigger than the balls that go in, so he likes putting large random items in it that get wedged and stuck. It’d be nice if the opening was only large enough for the balls that are supposed to go in.

Play Therapy Essential
I used this for Early Intervention Play therapy with my kiddos. They love it and I do too. We practice colors as they come out and numbers when putting them back in. I leave the plastic lid on to help with transport purposes from house to house. I also leave the l plastic lid on top to motivate my kiddos to problem solve and utilize their fine motor skills to push down on the plastic coin button. After I teach them how to remove the plastic lid to put the gumballs back in . I take a small bin with me when we use this toy to teach the kids I see that if you place a bin under the gumball machine when placed on a counter or table the bin can catch all the balls . Sometimes I will purposely place the gumball machine on the edge of a small table and have all the balls come out and roll away . I put the bin near by so we can problem solve together how to prevent the balls from rolling everywhere . It’s an amazing educational and entertaining toy . The kids I use it with are 1-3 years of age .

Needs more numbers.
It feels like something is missing. It would be awesome if you include a "0" ball and if you included a few more balls that open. The machine can fit 4 more balls. I'm using a dry erase marker on them to extend play. Also, it needs a better top. Not only does that add an extra element for motor skills/problem solving skills, it keeps dust and bugs out for storage.
