A: A 12x12 vinyl is not compatible with the Cricut Joy Xtra. The Max cut size using a Joy Xtra mat is 8.2 in x 11.7 in (20.8 cm x 29.7 cm). The max cut size using Smart Materials is 8.5 in x 4 ft (21.6 cm x 1.2 m).

A: Going as small as 1/8 of an inch, results may vary depending on the intricacy of the font. We recommend testing on copy paper before committing to the project material. The biggest difference is that the Joy Xtra has the ability to do Print then Cut projects, whereas the Joy does not.

i love this machine and has been making stickers every day since the machine arrived, i got all of the cricut tools and many colored vinyls, but has every thing it has its flaws my first problem is with how the machine cuts the vinyl because every sticker sheet i make it does not cut the sticker it cuts through the vinyl, making the sticker unusable. My next problem is that in cricut design space because of the way it works i can never make anything big because it says ''its to big'' or it says ''your machine cant do this''. but overall this machine is pretty awsome so give it 4 stars i do have a lot of fun thanks cricut!

I have ruined 2 rolls of smart vinyl due to the side getting caught in the blade. Very frustrating and expensive. Hoping I didn’t end up with a bad machine.

I bought this thinking it would make my sticker business super efficient. Oh boy was I wrong. The Design Space is the worst software I've ever used. It's so incredibly slow and awkward to use. There's a feature to "create a sticker", but it's behind a paywall. The main thing I bought this for is only usable with buying their stupid monthly subscription. Nah. I wish I would've looked into other options besides cricut, because now I own a $200 paperweight.
