Q: It say 5.0 sugar 0 % and below it says added sugar 5.0 10 % what does that mean? I love this soda . I splash a bit in my soda water and it gives it a true mocktail vibe

  • A: That's a great question! Total Sugars include sugars naturally present in the food, as well as any added sugars. There is no % daily value for Total Sugar because the FDA has not established a recommended total amount per day to be consumed. On the other hand, for Added Sugars, the FDA has established a daily value of 50g per day based on a 2,000 calorie diet, meaning 5g of added sugar is 10% of the 50g daily recommended amount.

Surprisingly bad

It’s not the worst thing I’ve ever had, but it’s pretty bad. I’ll echo others’ sentiments about it tasting more like cucumber than watermelon, and that there’s an odd creaminess to the flavor. It’s not actually creamy, it’s clear, but in the same way that a limoncello-flavored seltzer tastes different from a lemon-flavored seltzer. I like watermelon, I like lime, I like watermelon and lime together, but this one was Not It for me. I’ll stick with their grape soda!
