32" Otto Retro Wall Sconce Smoke - River of Goods

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a light by my favorite reading chair. This sconce/light works amazingly well, it was super easy to install. I used an LED bulb and now with this new great looking addition I can read with no issues. Love it!

The only only only complaint I have is that the light switch is all the way at the end of the cord near the plug. Thankfully I’m using a bluetooth lightbulb but it would be very annoying to always have to turn it on and off by the switch at the end. It should definitely be higher up on the cord near the light.

This glass shade on this adds just the right touch of interest! The brushed gold is tasteful. Since it doesn’t require hardwiring, I am going to order a second and use them in our master bedroom.

Gives off nice subtle light vs the harsh overheads. The switch is on the cord. Looks chic. Large enough to be on its own, but would also make for nice bedside lamps.

The rigid tubing gives it a "built-in" look and the plug makes it convenient to locate it wherever you want, without having to open any walls. The "gold colored" metal is pretty easy to scratch, so be careful with that. Other than that, it has the usual issues with wall/ceiling mounted fixtures that come unassembled: pulling the right mount of cord through the tubing, screwing all the parts together, mounting brackets that require you to get two tiny screws into holes that don't always match up, etc.
