My favorite Mag!
I have an extremely sensitive stomach and suffer from poor sleep- I’ve spent a few years trying all kinds of magnesium for calming and to help with my problems- the is by far the BEST product I have found. It’s perfect in your sleepy tea- it has a great flavor and it’s very relaxing and calming. I’ve never had a bad reaction to it and I take it every night religiously now!

I have such a hard time falling asleep and I’ve tried melatonin and sleep gummies from other brands and I always felt terrible in the morning, this product however was life changing! Helped me fall asleep, stay asleep, and feel rested and good when I woke up. Definitely helped my mood and the flavor is pretty good, it took some time to get used to but now I enjoy it!

Disgusting
My first time trying Magnesium Calm. When I first squeezed product onto spoon the smell, color and consistency was shocking and unexpected. Smelled like ammonia, dark brown and thick and the taste made me actually gag. I am so annoyed at this point. How can they even put this product out there. Like others, I don't know if it went bad or if it's just like this all the time.

I really just don't like the flavor! Not a bad product but the flavor is just not for me so I didn't use it consistently enough to say it made a difference. I tried it because I find it hard to fall asleep and stay asleep but it just didn't work out for me. It's thicker than expected as well, I put it in a measuring cup and would have to lick it out like a jello shot hehe, just FYI

I cannot even fathom how this product passed the R&D phase. It DOES work but the taste is horrible. I read other reviews and just assumed people were being dramatic, but it truly causes me (and my mother) to gag after one spoonful. It is also followed by a horrific after taste - we have to keep fresh raspberries nearby to consume immediately after having a spoon. It's complete torture taking this product and I can understand why some people find it unbearable. I'm in the process of searching for an alternative so we don't have to subject ourselves to this every day!

This stuff works well! The taste is just ok but you HAVE to shake it up each time before use, I think the bad reviews for the taste is a result of not shaking it up! Remember this is a vitamin in liquid form so taste isn’t the end result getting a great vitamin is!!

I received this product as a free promotion with purchase. The vitamins are so thick I cannot even pour it of the dosing cup. I tried a syringe too but with little success. After reading some reviews here, I fear this may be a bad batch. However, the tast me seems ok and it doesn’t smell bad. Is this how it’s supposed to be? As far as effectiveness, I have had the best sleep since taking this product.

The Magnesium Calm is hands down my favorite product!! I order several bottles at a time to make sure that I never run out. I found out a few months back that I was magnesium deficient. Which I had suspected. I had tried many different forms of magnesium over this past year and had a lot ot of trouble with them. I started taking Mary Ruth’s Magnesium Calm about 6 weeks ago. I am amazed at how much better I feel!! I started noticing a real improvement at around the 3 week mark. I am sleeping tons better and my energy levels are much improved. This product has really improved the quality of my life! I hope they never stop making it. I love Mary Ruth’s products because I don’t have any issues taking them like I do other brands. I also love the liquids because I feel like I absorb them better. I just mix the magnesium calm which a little bit of water and drink it down! It is working great for me! Thank you Mary Ruth!!

Horrible ammonia smell and bad color
I opened the bottle and immediately felt sick by smelling it. I am very disappointed. It has a strong ammonia smell and a very dark brown color. I thought someone had poisoned the bottle. Someone needs to look into this as I have now seen that other people are having the same problem. My lot number is the same as the other people who are having the same issue. I am saddened to see I am not the only one experiencing this issue. Especially with how clean/natural Mary Ruth's vitamins are supposed to be. I give these products to my children and am now worried to buy anything else.

Mary Ruth's Worst
This is the most recent of a myriad of Mary Ruth's products I have tried. Until now, I have loved everything I've tried—Vitamin C, Zinc, Respiratory Health, B6, Iodine drops. I expected the same with the Magnesium, but it is AWFUL. The taste is insufferable. I hoped it would rival Cymbiotika's, but not even close. Rancid is the best hypothesis for how it can be this bad.

The worst taste I have ever experienced. Could not fathom taking another dose. My husband also said the same. It smells like rotten fish. I bought this in-store so Mary Ruth's would not give me a refund or replacement. Unfortunate waste of money as this supplement is not cheap!

Love Mary Ruth products and was looking for a high quality magnesium supplement... I've only managed to take this twice.. it tastes awful. Unfortunately I don't think I"ll be able to try it a third time without vomiting. Wondering if it is rancid - looking at the ingredients nothing should make it taste so disgusting. Bummed!

The new magnesium does not taste like the one I used to buy , the taste now is much more stronger and hard to swallow. It used to taste like chocolate and was not hard to take that is why I liked it but now it tastes horrible!
