Amethyst Fairy Lights Purple - Room Essentials™: LED Indoor Novelty String Lights for Dorm Decor, USB/Battery Powered

I was looking at these string lights in my daughter's room and was shocked to find the plastic wrapped wire had burned/melted in one spot.

Super cute and look good whether turned on or off. Really elevated the look of my office desk! No timer feature though so you do have to manually switch them on and off. Takes 3 AA batteries.

I love these! They show up more of a warm white tone than the purple, but that doesn’t bother me. I use it as USB (not with the batter pack) and it’s great. No battery changing or fading lights that way. Also, not sure if they’re real stones, but they are at the very least extremely realistic. Recommend for a cozy touch to a bedroom or other space.

These are so, so perfect. Some glow whitish; some glow purple. Just a warning- the strand is not meant to be bunched up or bent. Not sure what that means, cause just laying them down in a straight line is nice, but limiting. I put them on my mini tree and plan on putting them out again when I finish renovating my home. I tangled the lights a bit, but they held up. They can be used with a wall charger or three AA batteries. Now I need tiny strawberries. Ahem, Target.

Super cute but the battery pack doesn’t work and it’s too short to be plugged into the wall.

Like: They're bright without being too bright. Wire is long enough to decorate a shelf or work cubicle. The battery pack is optional! It has a USB plug so you can plug it into a charger or USB stand and not need to worry about batteries (it takes 3 AA if you don't use the USB). They're so cute! Dislikes: The LED bulb/light is sometimes not aligned well with the amythest. That leads to sometimes being blinded if you look at it. You can easily correct it by manipulating the wire, or dabbing the bulb with a bead of glue from a hot glue craft gun. The purple of the crystals is washed out/overpowered by the LED light. Maybe purple lights could've been used instead of bright white. Again, this is something you could correct with a bit of purple paint or color on the crystal, but you shouldn't *have* to. It's mostly purple (each stone varies due to it being actual stone and not resin or plastic) when it's not lit. It should be purple when lit from the get go. Summary: They're worth it if you don't mind amythest crystals that get their color washed out when it's lit. I bought two of these when they were on sale for $7.00 each because I wanted some amythest protection at my work cubicle. They look great when they're not lit, and good when they are lit. They're just not a deep purple when lit. I say they're worth it anyway because the light is soft and ambient when each crystal is positioned correctly.

I was delighted to find that these lights are actually amethyst stones! I thought that the "amethyst" simply referred to the color. Bonus!

Very easy to set up (you will need to buy batteries separately). They look cute and during the day are still pretty. When they are turned on, there is very little purple/pink so it’s mostly just white light.

Super cute. I wish they actually worked. The string I purchased didn't work with batteries or with USB.

The light is more white than purple, which I don't mind but I could see it bothering others. The fake amethysts look really realistic, but I thought the lights would be embedded IN them and not glued to them but maybe the bulbs would get too hot if they did. Gets warm, but a lot of cheap fairy lights do. The end of the wire section that's covered in rubber and the start of the section with the lights on it gets hot. I would keep that in mind, especially if you plan on having them turned on by something flammible. Love that it can be used with USB, in a wall with a convertor, or with batteries.

They take three AA batteries and while they don’t have a timer, they can easily be turned on and off with the switch the purple crystals were really pretty, and these twinkle and shined in the light , I like we could wrap these around or hang them gently across her bed as well. It didn’t come with the usb to wall converter. I didn’t have batteries. They provide nice light to feel pretty without being overpowering. The cord was nice and lightweight. There is some weight to the lights. The string is pretty long to decorate a medium size area. There is an option to use batteries or you can plug in and use a usb plug. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These salt crystal light strips are super cute! I’m not sure if they are actually salt crystals but they remind me of the purple salt lamps. Some of the lights are more purpley than the others that are just more of a white light. The wire that these lights are on is adjustable and you can bend it to fit whatever shape you want to put the lights in which is really nice! Love that these are battery enabled also! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are a set of 25 battery operated led lights. They run off of 3 AA batteries and the USB connects to that battery power box. The lights are shaped to look like raw amethyst stones which I wasn't crazy about, I thought it would have the amethyst purple color to the lights but it does not. They light up plain white. So unless you specifically want rock shaped bulbs, I would just get a regular white light set. Not impressed with these. I received an incentive to write this review.

Much brighter than expected! And cuter than expected too! Just gently folded in 1/2 twice to lay behind my keyboard and around the left side to the front and plug into my Mac so its easier to find the start button at nite in my dark house. Amethyst is pretty and price was decent as was finding them at all. Thx Target!
