Rips your skin
This new formula is horrible. I was excited when I purchased it when I realized they changed it but then noticed that they only provided 4 oil packs and not the little bottle like before and it’s not as soft even when you rub it like the old one. When I used it, it ripped my skin off. Oh my gosh. Should have done this over the weekend now I have to go to work with a scar on my upper lip area. It’s already opened and used but I don’t care I’m returning it and getting my money back. Never again until they change it back. Sad I’ve been using this for years too.

This new formula is much harsher for your face. You need to make sure you pull your skin taught enough to avoid any excess tugging on the skin. I completely irritated my face with this product. I think they need to rethink the face and body advertising.

Old formula was better
I still use it but the old formula was much better. The green strips smell bad and the oil got replaced with just a few wipes which obviously isn’t enough. But for everyone saying it rips off your skin and leaves residue behind USE BABY POWDER FIRST! It makes a huge difference.

You get 18 strips they don't leave irritation because the strips don't stick enough to rip the hair off. It's a little bit painful but not really because it can't get the hair.

my go-to for at home bikini/pits/stache wax
I have been using these for probably 20 years. I preferred the old wax, but this works okay and I'll still buy it. I typically use these for mustache and bikini. More recently my armpits too. I end up cutting to size. I have also found I can reuse the strip 2-3 times, just put it back on and rub to warm. The price is great, and one pack will get me at least 1-2 bikini wax + more.

Pretty thrilled with this product after the first use. Their own formulation required rubbing to activate the wax but all you really have to do it rub it on the area in the direction of the hair and pull in the opposite direction. Easy to use. Effective. Did remove almost all of the hair. I do like the added wax removal wipes

Bought this three different times, this time tore my upper lip off! Didn’t do anything different, nothing different on my face, pulled it off and it was BLEEDING. Been a week and I still have this huge scab on my lip I know will leave a scar. Do not buy this! Maybe it’ll be fine once but not worth the risk if it isn’t.

Decent wax wish they sold in bigger packs
It is a decent wax. I have been using it since i was 12 with the original formula. They used to be clear now they are greenish wax but still does the same good job! If you hesitate and nervous sweat then it won’t grab on too well. I find it works best to apply press it into the skin twice well then pull without thinking about it. I usually get most hairs out like that and only have to use tweezers on the really short hairs. Quite painless for me as someone with sensitive skin i would recommend.

Bring back the Finishing Oil in a bottle!
I love these wax strips as they make waxing my eyebrows easy. I just wish they would bring back the little oil in the bottle because the wipes they provide now run out by the 4th time I wax my eyebrows. After that I have to buy another box just for the finishing oil to get rid of the sticky wax residue. Please bring back the oil bottle!!! It was so much better.

New formula is awful
Used the wax strips for about 15yrs and this new blue formula is awful. It’s far too sticky where a lot of product gets left behind on skin after removal. Also the formula causes more acne days after than the prior formulation. I won’t be using this brand anymore unless I see they bring back the old formula.

I’m not sure if all of the waxes are the green formula now, but I bought these and they are 10/10. I’ve used wax strips for years, and I had to buy another brand last time, because I was desperate for strips and there were none of Sally Hansen. I then found out that Sally Hansen is top tier. The green thicker wax is PERFECT!!! It adhered to even my shorter hairs & gave my skin a flawless look. None left behind. I will ALWAYS buy these.
