A: Great question, Ava. Not to worry, dermaplaning does not cause your hair to grow back thicker. It grows back exactly as it was before dermaplaning. The peach fuzz on your face is a type of hair called vellus hair. These thin, light hairs are different from hair that grows in other places. You may notice it feels slightly different when it first re-emerges, and that's because it's growing back from a blunt cut instead of its natural hair cycle.

I used this product on my face without issue but a few days after waxing my arms I broke out with small little raised bumps. Be careful when using this product, just because you don’t break out on one part of your body does not mean you can’t break out on others. It’s a real downer because my arms were really smooth initially then a few days later this happens! Please do a patch test and wait a couple days before continuing.

Great to use as up keep after professional waxing. I took my daughter to get waxed twice at EWC and it’s pricey to up keep for a 10yr when I don’t do that myself. I like the idea of her hair getting trained young to not come back thick. Anyways, I decided to try these out and was shocked at how well it pulled the hair! I used one box, should have gotten two boxesfor her legs so I would have enough for touch up strips. I think what helped was getting professionally wax before using these because the hair is thinner. I think if you were to go straight from shaving to these you might have a harder time.

These are horrible! Hate the new formula and amount of face strips in the box. BRING BACK OLD STRIPS!!!! These took zero hair off, I had to use all face strips to do my lip. The old formula, one strip and done.

I got this because I have never waxed before and wanted to try waxing before spending a bunch on a waxing machine. I tried 3 times on each armpit following the instructions perfectly and it didn't work. I tried the small ones and the big ones. they took out a couple hairs but that was it.

This is my third box with trying these wax strips. These strips remove 40% of hair on a good pull. I have tried every angle, every direction, every type of skin preparation, and these things just won't grab the hair. There is nothing worse than going through all the pain of waxing, only to have 50%+ hair still left. I would rather try microwave stripless wax.

I’ve tried these Flamingo strips multiple times as trial and error and I’ve come to the conclusion that I won’t be purchasing these any longer. The wax is very sticky and doesn’t get all the hairs. Pulls too hard on the skin. The aftercare wax do help get all the wax off and calm the skin

These are great! I was skeptical due to the reviews however when you wax regardless of its hard wax or strips like this the area must be dry! Applying some powder ensures you get all the hair. These have become my go to, so quick and easy. I used to hard wax but switched to this and I’m so happy!

Wax strips are boxed face to face such that you have to peel them apart to use them (by design). This divides the already weak “wax” in half, making it as effective as masking tape. It’s just sticky enough to injure the skin while leaving 2/3 of the hair behind. A waste of money, wish I could return.

Great for the underarms which is the main reason I purchased but not as great for legs- requires a lot more sheets and pulls out a lot less there, unsure why. Overall, it's a great at home option! Results last a few weeks and no ingrowns which occurs more often for me when shaving.
