Did not work and irritated my skin!
Horrible!! Only removed a handful of hairs on my chin and I have very think dark hair. It made my skin feel very irritated afterwards and I had to stop using it halfway through. Do yourself a favor and go with another brand.

Use Baby Powder
Followed their directions EXACTLY and it wasn't pulling anything but was sticking to my skin. Use baby powder like they would at a salon. it prevented it from sticking to my skin and actually grabbed the hair Once I did that, it finally does the job. Personally I think there needs to be more medium strips as the larger ones are too long to get a solid/strong pull.

I’ve been buying Sally Hansen wax strips for almost 2 decades and have found them to be effective and easy. However, I love this new formula! It doesn’t leave any residue that needs to be removed with oil like the old recipe. Love it.

The product works fine, but is sticky compared to the previous product that you had to rub between your hands ro warm up before applying. So it makes for a messy aftermath. There are oil wipes included to help remove wax left behind, but I prefer the old product.

Poor product
If I could give this product 0 stars I would. My husband and I tried these for his face. These did absolutely nothing. We did everything the instructions said to do, and it didn't do anything. Then, I tried it on my legs, it also did nothing. I even left it on for about 30 seconds - 1 minute to see if I had to leave it on for a minute. It still did nothing. This is a waste of money.

Not happy with the new product
The new strips do not separate easily and do not work nearly as well as the old ones. So sad they changed these I’ve been buying them for years and now need an alternative.

Umm...they do work, but I have to repeat application a few times in order to remove the hairs (which ultimately causes skin irritation). I don't like the wax residue that it leaves behind either. It comes with oily wipes to remove the wax, but still....If you want something cheap and quick for hair removal, then it's okay to use. I wouldn't use it for long term use though...🤷🏾♀️

Rips your skin
This new formula is horrible. I was excited when I purchased it when I realized they changed it but then noticed that they only provided 4 oil packs and not the little bottle like before and it’s not as soft even when you rub it like the old one. When I used it, it ripped my skin off. Oh my gosh. Should have done this over the weekend now I have to go to work with a scar on my upper lip area. It’s already opened and used but I don’t care I’m returning it and getting my money back. Never again until they change it back. Sad I’ve been using this for years too.

This new formula is much harsher for your face. You need to make sure you pull your skin taught enough to avoid any excess tugging on the skin. I completely irritated my face with this product. I think they need to rethink the face and body advertising.

Old formula was better
I still use it but the old formula was much better. The green strips smell bad and the oil got replaced with just a few wipes which obviously isn’t enough. But for everyone saying it rips off your skin and leaves residue behind USE BABY POWDER FIRST! It makes a huge difference.

You get 18 strips they don't leave irritation because the strips don't stick enough to rip the hair off. It's a little bit painful but not really because it can't get the hair.

my go-to for at home bikini/pits/stache wax
I have been using these for probably 20 years. I preferred the old wax, but this works okay and I'll still buy it. I typically use these for mustache and bikini. More recently my armpits too. I end up cutting to size. I have also found I can reuse the strip 2-3 times, just put it back on and rub to warm. The price is great, and one pack will get me at least 1-2 bikini wax + more.

Pretty thrilled with this product after the first use. Their own formulation required rubbing to activate the wax but all you really have to do it rub it on the area in the direction of the hair and pull in the opposite direction. Easy to use. Effective. Did remove almost all of the hair. I do like the added wax removal wipes

Bought this three different times, this time tore my upper lip off! Didn’t do anything different, nothing different on my face, pulled it off and it was BLEEDING. Been a week and I still have this huge scab on my lip I know will leave a scar. Do not buy this! Maybe it’ll be fine once but not worth the risk if it isn’t.
