Sally Hansen Wax Strips for Face & Bikini - 20ct

The reformulation is awful . like really bad. Everything about this is good awful and you're better off just getting the target brand . The wipes hardly have any oil to get the s*itty residue off . the "wax" is all runny and sticky. it leaves more of the wax then removes hair . "Cutting " corners with your consumers. Isn't going to work anymore . we will simply just buy another brand and heed and warn others from buying garbage from you guys anymore. cause it seems you guys have been cutting corners a lot . Please don't buy it , waste of money literal garbage

What’s with the wipes? There isn’t enough to support the strips. Bad idea. Cutting corners? Bring the bottle of oil back. That’s what made this product worth it. Why get rid of the included item that made a difference?! Whose bright idea was that? You’re not special anymore. I literally bought this product because of the oil.

First time using it for the bikini area and I will never use it again. It leaves so much wax residue (about half) on your skin all while pulling less than 20% of the hair off. They also don’t give enough oil wipes (only 4) for the entire box! To top it off, skin was left irritated with some small areas of bleeding underneath the skin that now look like small blood blisters. Terrible product.

I have been using Sally Hansen cold wax strips since the early 2000s and they were the best on the market. This reformulation with blobby unsticky wax works so poorly it shouldn't be allowed to be called a wax strip. Weirdly the packaging advertises "infused with avocado oil and vitamin E [oil] and they have dyed the wax avocado green to belabor this point. Why on earth would you put oil in the wax???!! Oil is used to remove wax, that's why the product always comes with Azulene oil SEPARATELY. Is this why these strips work so poorly? Some marketing genius ruined the product and now it doesn't work?

Horrible skin ripping! Caused a really bad break out too where the skin didn’t rip.

These wax strips don’t work well and aren’t worth the skin irritation or damage they cause. They also don’t include the actual oil, just towelettes that are ineffective at removing the wax.

I never tried the previous formula so I'm not sure how it compares to this one, but these worked great for me! I decided to try these out on my upper lip and between my brows and it removed the hair in both areas well. I do think these would be even better if they had a paper strip vs. the plastic strips because it was a little hard to get the strip pressed down completely near my nose while I was waxing my lip. I also wish they included more wax remover wipes since I'll definitely run out before I use all of the wax strips. Overall I'm satisfied with this product despite a few little nitpicks.

These are better than other wax strips I’ve tried. They work well for small areas like underarms. Wouldn’t recommend for anything larger.

Wax very messy and doesn't easily come off. Damaged my skin, doesn't remove hair well and came with 4 completey dried out, useless argon oil wipes.

I loved this product, I was scared because in the past I’ve used melted wax to do my mustache and it didn’t work, but these worked very well. I am highly impressed and think I will keep buying them. They do irritate my skin at first but not as bad as the salon does and it doesn’t rip my skin either, Praise the Lord. I think you need to keep the skin taut to prevent skin from ripping… also it didn’t get every single hair but you can probably use a tweezer for the rest because there was barely any strays left

I've been using these for years on with great success. I gave the new formula a good solid try but it has been nothing short of a disaster. It damages my skin, is not as effective as before. Wipes are useless. Won't be buying this again - after almost a 20 year loyal customer. Sad for Sally to ruin a great product.

Why oh why did they change the formula??! These used to work great with a paper backing but it is now a stiffer plastic backing and the wax just stays behind on your skin. What a waste.

Wish I would have read the reviews first. All this did was rip off my skin and give me a rash. Awful

I’m a not a fan of ready to use waxing strips, as in the past they wouldn’t work at all. However these strips were great! Got the thick and thin hairs on my face, upper lip and eyebrows. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the wax remover wipe left my face really oily.

These were insanely easy to use if you follow directions and have a basic understanding of waxing. I've always gotten waxed by a professional, but frankly got sick of spending time/money on it every month. I bought these on a whim despite the reviews detailing all types of horrors. After using this product, it's clear that it was user error. Bumps are most likely from unclean skin --newly waxed, exposed pores + bacteria/fungus on skin = bumps. If you're ripping skin, it's because you didn't stop using actives (AHAs, BHAs, retinol, etc) at least a week before waxing. Both things will happen regardless of type of wax or professional vs. home. READ THE DIRECTIONS and do a patch test if you have allergies, sensitive skin, etc., and you want to be safe. I will say that I'm allergic to tons of skincare ingredients and have multiple skin-related diagnoses, and I didn't have issues with these. I used these on my upper lip before hopping in the shower and gently washing my face to remove the excess wax because I couldn't be bothered to use the wipe. I left my skin bare the rest of the day and waited for irritation that never arrived. I'm on day three... nothing but suede-smooth skin. I'm by no stretch a beauty/skin guru, I can barely paint my nails, and I'm generally lazy with "maintenance"... If I can handle this, you absolutely can, too.

I think the new formula is much more effective and gentler on my skin! However the azure oil wipes feel rough on my skin and the box only comes with 4. Please switch it back to the bottle of oil! Other than that, I love this product.

The old formula was way better and a much better value compared to this. The small strips in this new set are so skinny and don’t even fully cover my upper lip, whereas I had no issue with the smallest ones in the old box. Plus the old box came with a little bottle of the azulene oil! Now, they’ve cheaped out and replaced it with *4* wipes, nowhere near enough for the entire box. Save your money, and don’t buy this.

There are not enough wipes in the package and then there is nothing to remove excess wax. Go back to the little vile! These are a waste of money with the wipes.

Unless u don't mind having your skin ripped off, I would stay far far away! Made a mess on my chin and now have to deal with the scabs to come.
