Q: Can these be used for eyebrows too?

submitted by Samantha - 5 years ago
  • A: Yes, I’ve been using them for my eyebrows for years. You just have to cut them into your desired shape.

Don't use the wipes!

Don’t use the wipes that come with it if you have sensitive skin. I used it and made the areas I waxed very red. I washed it off and use bacitracin instead. I waxed my eyebrows. I was able to cut the strips and made it easier.

I normally get Nair wax strips but this time I decided to try these since they were out of stock and whew should I have read the reviews. These are the worst wax strips ever! I used these on my upper lip/chin and let me tell you these burned my chin to the point to where it left a red long mark. My chin is peeling which has never happened. Not sure if it’s because of these wax strips but my whole entire face has broken out as well right after using this product. That has also never happened to me. I would not recommend these wax strips to ANYONE. Stay far away!

Not easy to peel off, the wax is so goopy and hard to clean off face and hands. After watching a plethora of videos/reading reviews I decided to go with this instead of dermaplaning, but from before and after photos i attached, you could see it barely did anything except leave a big mess of disappointment

I usually don’t write reviews, but this deserves one. Despite reading the other reviews, I went on a whim and bought it. The box contains the wax strips, powder, and oil which was nice that all of those were included. I gave it a 2-star review because I developed rashes on my upper lip after waxing it. Yes, of course it was irritated; however, it did not go away until one week later. Sadly, I don’t recommend this product.

I was almost scared off by the reviews but decided to give it a shot and I'm really glad I did. I generally have sensitive skin and it reacts quickly to most things. This definitely stung but I mean... it's waxing. Its gonna sting a little but after I applied the oil a little tingling was left and thats it. No extreme redness and no burns or cuts.

After reading the reviews I was scared but I also really needed the wax strips and I’m so glad I did! I usually hate strips bc they are a mess when rubbing between my hands but these were just fine and caused no irritation! I was very red when I first did it, of course, but I used the oil wipe that was included and everything looks great today in the AM. Got all the hair in one try too! 😄

Turns out my waxer charges $25 for an eyebrow wax and we’re in a cost of living crisis, I’m not paying that. Pictures in other reviews initially scared me off but I decided I had nothing to lose except a layer of my skin and that’ll grow back, hopefully? Used this to wax my eyebrows, mustache and side burns a few hours ago and while I was initially pink all the redness is now gone. The pinkness didn’t worry me as that’s how I look after getting professionally waxed or threaded. My recommendation for anyone thinking of using this is put talcum or baby powder down and hold your skin taut with the other hand when you rip the wax off. Those two things should help with irritation. Definitely recommend these wax strips for a beginner.

Easy to use. Thought I could save some time and money to DIY. But I was breaking out all on the waxed area (upper lip and chin) after the wax. I usually get it professionally waxed and have not had that after effect of the pimples. Ruined my skin and confidence. Don’t know if I did it right or wrong. Could be the formula of the wax. But will not be purchasing again.
