If you have the opportunity to buy it, DO NOT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT. Too bad.

This new wax would not adhere to strips and pulled my skin. When it did adhere it literally pulled off a layer of my skin. It’s noticeable bc of being tan. It left me blotchy in the bikini area.

Easily one of the worst products I’ve ever used. I’m genuinely stunned at how terrible this was. I’ve never felt the need to leave a negative review before, but this disaster of a kit earned it. As a first-time waxer, I followed the instructions exactly — and the wax didn’t even get hot enough to spread properly. It clumped onto my leg like glue, refusing to come off. Being new to this, I made the rookie mistake of getting into the shower to wash it off, which only made it worse. I ended up in my bathtub, frantically slathering every oil I could find onto my leg. The only thing that finally worked? Goo Gone. Yes, Goo Gone, the industrial gunk remover — which, let’s be honest, probably isn’t skin-safe. And then came the cleanup. Wax everywhere. Towels ruined. An hour of scrubbing and swearing just to undo the mess this kit made. Do not buy this. Seriously. Save your time, your skin, and your sanity.

i don't understand why this company had to change the old formula if people are buying it? DO NOT BUY THIS NEW FORMULA. IT'S JUST A WASTE OF MONEY BECAUSE IT IS NOT EFFECTIVE!

I have been trying to find the hard wax that you used to make. This new wax is horrible and it doesn't work. Let me know if you switch back I'd love to remain a dedicated customer

Should have read the reviews because this product is absolutely terrible and a waste of $10. Bruised and ripped skin off but not hair, and is very messy and sticky

Too thick, messy, leaves residue

At first I thought it was user error since I hadn’t waxed very often, but quickly realized it wasn’t me. The wax is SUPER sticky and made a huge mess even with extra help. It also hurt much worse than normal to rip off and left bruises on my skin. Truly wouldn’t recommend and would 100% return it if I could after my experience with it.

I bought this product yesterday and it was the worse. I usually use wax beads but decided let’s try something different and bad decision. It was so sticky that it was not lifting off my skin with the felt strips, pulling my skin bad that it left big bruises. Followed all instructions to the T but worse experience ever with this product.

It stays gooey even after 10mins. Of course it doesn't remove hair and you'll end up strugling with a thick sticky wax to clean

This product is terrible. It has an unpleasant smell, does not harden properly, and removes way less hair than your previous extra strength all over body wax. Why would you discontinue a good product? I would like. Refund and will not be purchasing in the future.

This wax is terrible compared to the Sally Hanson extra strength all over body wax. You need to bring it back! The new formula adheres to skin way more, even with the use of a light powder dusting. It leaves welts, and worst of all, DOES NOT REMOVE HAIR. So you are left with welts and hair. Not a win 😡

Useless!! What a waste of time and money and so mush frustrating!

Honestly. Avoid this at all costs. First, it doesn’t remove hair. You could argue it does, but it almost does just as much damage to skin. Second, it’s entirely too sticky, which I guess could be a good thing, until you realize the stickiness isn’t necessarily conducive to hair removal. Going along with that, the wipes to “remove excess wax” are literally so small and dry, they will do very little to help you. I honestly had to use Ajax just to remove this wax from any surface it touched. Finally, and most importantly, the wax itself does not harden once it gets warm. You’ll leave the wax on, minutes upon minutes, and when you go to remove the hair, you’ll only get about half of what your target was, and the other half that “worked” also removed most of the skin too. Not a good product, at all.

The new formula is AWFUL! Horrible, sticky consistency. I’ve been using Sally Hansen wax for 10+ years with no problems. The new formula does not rip cleanly (leaves wax residue and misses so much hair) and it ripped off like the first layer of my skin. I know how to wax (remember, 10+ years), so I am very confident that this isn’t user error. This product should be discontinued!!

Please bring back the old formula. I've bought 3 boxes of this and had to throw all of them away. I used the old one successfully for YEARS. This product has ZERO redeeming qualities. It makes a mess, the included items are not anywhere near what is needed for the entire jar (if it worked, which it doesn't), and no hair is removed. I've tried it everywhere on my body. I've been doing my own waxing for decades... this doesn't work. At all. It just makes a mess. (Not worth wasting time to take pictures. Did NOTHING but irritate my skin. No hair removed.
