The only assembly involved is to put the stand together that holds them when they're folded up and that us easy to do. They don't take up much space either which is a plus.

Once I opened the box, I liked that the tables themselves were already put together, so the only assembly that was required was putting the stand together that holds the tables. The instructions were easy to follow, and I had it set up and put in our living room in no time. The tables are light and easy to carry around and move around. They are the perfect height if you would like to use them while sitting on your couch. I like that when my daughter and I are having a movie night we can set up our popcorn and drinks near us and watch the movie without worrying about the dog being able to grab stuff like off a coffee table. I also found that it is the perfect stand to set your laptop on to do work while watching tv. The black color easily blends into my décor and provides much needed functionality. The 5-piece folding wood TV table set includes 4 tables and a stand. The tables are easy to expand and collapse. They are made of solid wood and easily sit in the stand. My only complaint I had was not about the tables, but the stickers used to label the different pieces of the stand for its assembly. The stickers were not easy to remove as they left a sticky residue. I did appreciate the detailed assembly instructions and labeling of each of the pieces, I just hope that moving forward a different sticker gets used to make the removal easier.

The handle that's connected to the side would not screw in. I believe the hole is too big and the screw just slides in and out of the hole. I'm assuming I just got a defective set. Other than that I'm really happy with the tables they are easy to set up and close. Those came in the package already put together. I just had to put the stand together, which was very simple and quick.
