Q: Do these paper towels contain and/or been tested for PFAS or formaldehyde?

submitted by jm327w - 1 year ago

  • A: Hi there. At Kimberly-Clark, we develop our products with great care and have rigorous safety and quality requirements. Our Scott towels are safe, and does not contain PFAs. Like most natural and man-made materials, small amount of formaldehyde may be present in some of the raw materials that are used to make Kimberly-Clark products. It’s below the levels which dermatologists consider unsafe for people who are allergic to formaldehyde. We hope this helps!

Liked the texture but the weight of it was not what I had expected. I end up using two sheets instead of one.

Great product. Works well for absorbing messes. Stays strong. Not the softest and not the best price for only 2.

Literally the worst paper towels I’ve ever used. I’ve had thicker toilet paper that would be better than these paper towels. Like trying to soak up water with a dollar store tissue. Actually maybe the dollar store tissue would even hold better. Buy anything except these. Trust me

    Something is off in mfg.

I am a BIG fan off Scott's products, I have been for some years now.. Lately I am noticing that the tissue and paper towels are glued a bit tighter than I remember. It's a inconvenience as you have to rip through the product to get a good spinning surface for both products.

I like the sturdiness of this paper towel, I also like that you can coose a size- especially for small jobs. I do prefer the one that has 4 perferations, but 2 is good as well.

    Thin and Low-Quality

The wavy-ridge texture results in the area between the ridges being as thin as tissue paper; I have to use double the sheets to obtain the same absorbency as most other brands. And yet, when rolled up, those ridges overlap and make the roll look nice and large. Congrats to the shareholders of Kimberly-Clark on this impressive fleece of the consumer.

    These are terrible

Way too thin, takes two to get any sort of absorption.
