"Soft" = THIN

I know the description of this rug says that it's thin but I didn't realize it was more like a blanket. I suppose it resembles an actual animal hide in that it doesn't have any structure on the back. Even though I'm will be returning this as I am looking for something thicker it is very good quality and looks expensive.
