After reading the reviews, I ordered these and I'm glad I did. SO unlike the mainstream olives, so much better. I'm on my way to learning more about different types of olives now. These are huge, beautiful green (photo doesn't do justice), and with the perfect firmness. Because I have high blood pressure and can't have too much salt, I drained off the brine and replaced with tap water. Hope that doesn't affect their terrific texture.

Unexpected
Being a long time lover of these olives, I've been extremely disappointed in the most recent jar. About every third olive has pit fragments.

Not what i expected
I’m an olive girlie. I was not expecting this olive though. It’s very mild in flavor, less salty, and not as acidic as pimiento stuffed olives. It’s not bad, just not what I was expecting. Think of black olives (not kalamata) but instead of black, they’re green

The best 5 stars Mezzetta olives I've ever had.
I ordered a case of the Mezzetta olives and I can"t tell you how pleased I'am. I use them in my main course meals and they perk up my salads.. I even read that they are out- standing in some cocktails. The price is so resonable, it is so worth it. They are so well wrapped bubble that there is no chance of breakage. Absolutely delicious olives. What more can I say? I purchased these for martinis, but I usually eat handfuls for snacks. These olives have the perfect texture and the perfect amount of salt. I've tried other brands but none can compare with these.

My favorite snack!
I like to have a few of these while I cook or watch a show. So salty and smooth! I used to hate olives before trying these at a winery on a charcuterie board. I thought the board was overpriced, so I recreated it at home for a fraction of the price. These olives were the star of the show! Obsessed!

This is absolutely my favorite olive. I came across these delicious olives in Europe and was thrilled to find them in the States by a brand that I love! Great for salads and charcuterie boards.
