In theory, this thing is great but once you get it out of the box, it's many flaws become quickly apparent; especially with my 1+ year old. First, when it's folded there's no way to lock it closed, which doesn't seem like a big deal until you pick it up randomly as your cleaning or whatever and it suddenly swings open and smacks something. Second, the pedals have the worst placement, my son wasn't tall enough (and he's big for his age) to reach comfortably in peddling mode and he was too tall for the pedals in the non-peddling mode; his legs are folded so awkwardly that he prefers to let his feet drag on the floor. Lastly, the seat is uncomfortably small for him, I get that it needs to be compact but what's the point if your little one is uncomfortable the whole time? I prefer comfort for him over a little extra convenience for me.

My 16 month would not stay strapped and would could easily remove straps no matter how tight. She would constantly stand up by the pedals and almost hang off. It became so stressful and dangerous. The breaking point is when we were out and her whole knee got banged up from hitting a corner edge. I returned this item for being a hazard and would not recommend.
