The frame connects to my 50" TV via Wi-Fi and creates so called Q-Symphony - Samsung's surround sound. The sound is excellent, a bit on bass side, but good. Sadly I practically never use the frame as a speaker - the thing looses it's connectivity periodically, acting super unreliable.

Hi Moisha, Thank you for taking a moment to review the Samsung Music Frame. If the audio from the wireless subwoofer is dropping out intermittently, there are a few things to check before performing any troubleshooting: 1) The maximum wireless signal transmission distance is about 33 ft. 2) If there is a wall between the sound bar and the subwoofer, it may cause interference or not work at all, depending on the material in the wall. 3) If there is a device that uses the same wireless frequency (2.4 GHz) near the Soundbar, interference may cause some sound interruption. 4) Check all the sources on the soundbar. If the audio is dropping while watching TV it could be an issue with the broadcast. 5) Also, please be sure you have the latest firmware update. You can update your firmware by Auto Update, using the SmartThings app, or by using a USB device. You can find the update on the product page of your Samsung Music Frame on the Samsung website. It blends in fantastically with the decor in our room and you would never know that it is a speaker until you turn on the TV. It also sounds great playing music connected via Bluetooth.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wirelessly connected the Frame to my Samsung TV. I don't need any satellite speakers anymore. The dialogues are much clearer to hear. I also connect my phone to play the music, and it is a blast! When I plug in a USB drive to my TV and play the music tracks through the Music Frame, everyone is amazed at the sound quality and the volume!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this Music Frame speaker as part of the promotion for buying the Samsung Frame Pro TV. When we tested out the speaker, we were impressed by how loud and crisp the sound was despite the form factor and the size. I would say it was comparable to the Sonos Move speaker when it came to the clarity and the volume of sound. I can see how useful this speaker would be if it were used as a stereo speaker pair for the TV, but for us we already had a stereo speaker . One slight downside is that this Music Frame speaker is a bit big and will take up a lot of surface area given how it's also meant to be used as a picture frame. Depending on one's need, this "frame" look may not work for one's decor as it would be somewhat weird to have to identical picture frames on both sides of the TV. But obviously, this speaker can be used in other ways as well, so this is not a big issue.

They have not worked as advertised and have proven to be extremely difficult to link to the Frame TV. The sound output when linked to our iPhones has been good

You can connect it using one of the following three options. - Option 1: Connect via Wi-Fi using Samsung SmartThings, this provides the best integration and allows Q-Symphony, which syncs the TV and Music Frame speakers. Set up Music Frame in SmartThings: Plug in your Music Frame. Open the SmartThings app on your phone (iOS or Android). Tap the "+" icon → "Add device". It should auto-detect the Music Frame. If not, select Samsung → Soundbar → follow prompts to add it. Connect your Frame TV to SmartThings: Make sure your TV is on and connected to the same Wi-Fi. Go to Settings > General > Network > Network Settings on the TV to confirm. Add the TV to SmartThings if it's not already there. Enable Q-Symphony: On your TV: Go to Settings > Sound > Sound Output → Select [TV Name] + [Music Frame] (Q-Symphony). - Option 2: Connect via Bluetooth (Simpler but less immersive) On your Frame TV: Go to Settings > Sound > Sound Output > Bluetooth Speaker List. Select Music Frame once it appears. On Music Frame: Press the Bluetooth pairing button (or use the SmartThings app to enter pairing mode). This is the best sounding bluetooth speaker that I have heard. First one I have seen where you can adjust Bass/ Treble/ Equalizer. Although a nice size it would look great in a livingroom, family room, condo, apartment or just your average size home. It handles volume without distortion. Put your favorite photo in it and it looks like just a photo frame, but friends will be amazed when you touch a couple of buttons on your smartphone. I thought that this was such a great idea that I purchased one for myself and 2 as Christmas gifts!

I purchased 2 of these music frames to pair with my frame(LS03B) TVs. So far i've had 1 die and need the system board replaced and the other also constantly loses connection to the tv. Now i'm discovering that these music frames work very poorly with the frame tvs and i wouldnt recommend getting them as a speaker option for the tvs. The newest development on these is there's an audible "network disconnected" coming from the speaker even when they don't lose connection. I just really wish there was a way to physically connect these speakers to the tv instead of wireless or bluetooth because they disconnect all the time and make it very frustrating to use considering the price.

It helps me to keep my lived ones nearby, no matter how far our distance, and to display their photos conveniently, without the need of bulky frames and too much space taken.
