RTIC Outdoors 65qt Hard Sided Cooler

This is my first RTIC purchase of any kind. It's the perfect size for what I need. While I haven't used it yet, I'm confident it'll perform as expected. I'm impressed with the solid construction and apparent quality of the cooler. I've already purchased the freezable divider and solid basket for it. Can't wait to try it!

We were moving from Maryland to Florida in June (it was hot!) and we had a freezer full of meat that we didn’t want to get rid of or have go bad. We bought this cooler, hoping that most of it would make the theee day trip. We were totally wrong!! It *all* made it traveling 3 days in 90+ heat in the back of a U-haul trailer. We were so grateful and ecstatic. Would recommend these coolers to anyone!

I purchased this cooler to transport frozen food for our vacation. I need the cooler to keep the food frozen for five days without re-icing. I protected the inside of the cooler with thin, closed cell foam, and packed the cooler with already frozen food and dry ice. When I reached our destination across the ocean all of the food was still frozen, and there was still dry ice remaining. I could not ask for more.

I use the 65 ultra tough cooler with lid cushion tied down on the bow of my flats boat and at 77 years old I can sit comfortably and fish while still having the cooler for food, drinks or use for fish on ice.

Nice cooler. Good construction, I like the rope style handles.

Better built. Quality hinges and good quality construction. We got it as we travel and want extended cool storage and it suits our needs.

Looks good, however sitting in the sun the lid bows from the heat, keeps ice well and drinks cold

Too big and heavy, but a good cooler. Looks nice too. The rope handles make it nice to carry with 2 people.

Excellent cooler, its tough & durable. Keeps everything nice & cold actually for a few days, the sandwich rack & divider are a great option

The cooler alone is amazing. The only reason I don’t give this cooler a 5 star review is because you can get a 52qt down to a 22 qt cooler WITH WHEELS. How? How does this not have any wheels on it, it’s heavy as heck carrying it everywhere especially during training events. Makes zero sense to me. Make one with wheels.

Used the cooler over Memorial day week and only pit two seven pound bags over a five day period. Still had ice on the lat day.

Size is AMAZING! We've had so many people comment how they wish they had the same size because it holds everything. Doesn't slide off the back of our boat either. Honestly, we love RTIC and have many of their coolers. Why? Because our drinks stay cold, ice doesn't melt, great price, and they are easy to open and close.

Love this cooler! Also purchased the divider and dry bin, this is perfect for storing different types of foods to keep them separated, fresh and cool without getting soggy and gross. Love it and highly recommend!

I was looking for a cooler that would support my family on weekend camping trips. This cooler is up for the task. My favorite feature is the ice pack divider.

Love the color! So vivid! Well-made; sturdy construction. This is our 2nd one this size (his & hers) because we liked our 1st one so much. Perfect size for a variety of uses - can be carried by 1 person (depending on how full we fill it).

I have Yeti and Rtic hard coolers and ice packs. I prefer the Rtic products. The ice packs stay frozen longer. As for my coolers I have a 65 gal Rtic and a 45 gal Yeti. I go to a state fair every year. We currently stay in a tent. Because we show rabbits we need frozen water bottles to help keep the cool at the fair. I filled the Rtic with 65lbs of dry ice covered that with piece of cardboard. To separate ice packs and water bottles from the dry ice. It froze the water and i could rotate my Rtic ice packs to my other cooler with food and drinks in it. The Icdidcadd another 10lbs of dry ice just to be safe 4 days in. We had some dry ice left on Monday afternoon. I think this year I will put 70lbs in and get a blanket to put over the cooler for added insulation. If you ever use dry ice in your cooler remember to open it at least once a day. I opened it twice or three times to be safe. If you don't the pressure will build up anb the hinges will blow off. Because it was a mile walk from our tent to the barn I used a Rtic ice pack in my Rtic backpack cooler to take the bottles of ice to the rabbits. I even experimented with taking the small ice pack and zip tying it to the cage to try to keep the rabbits cool. Rabbits didn't like it as much as the bottles but they are picky.

Love this cooler, but before I used this cooler even once, the black tubing on the rope handle broke. I really expected more from this cooler and am quite unimpressed with my investment.

Wife loves the color and I love the durability and how well it keeps ice.
