Q: Is the 53.31” dimension the inside of the frame or the outside of the frame? I only have 54” to fit this thing, so it’s important.

A: Hi, thanks for reaching out. The outside of the crib is 54''. The mattress size should be at least 27.25 inches wide x 51.625 inches long and should not exceed more than 6 inches thick. The mattress should be of such length and width that the gap between the mattress and the sides of the crib is not more than 1-3/16 inches when the mattress is pushed into the corner of the crib. This is for safety reasons, ensuring no gaps.

The absolute worst item I’ve ever tried to put together in my entire life. It’s impossible and I’m returning. The paint is already scratched off just while I was trying to put it together.

Do not waste your time or money. Absolutely worst assembly design I have ever encountered. After way too much time spent trying to get all foundation slats in the side rail holes I have decided that it simply isnt worth further effort. This is being returned to the store. I DO NOT care if they refund my money or not it is being left at the store...Fuming...seeing way too many items being sold that require return to manufactuter and not the store...Also purchased the coordination 3 in 1 crib. Also returning that as I doubt the assembly will be any better. Completely disgusted.

Love the looks of the bed when you finally get it put together. Like a few others have stated the predrilled holes aren’t there in the very first couple of steps. Because of that I ended up putting a couple of holes in the wrong spot so now I need to go find some black wood putty to fill in those spots. The instructions clearly show the holes but they aren’t there. Also the slats are awful without someone’s help. Once I got that all done the rest went together easier. It is a cute bed if you have an hour or so and some patience.

The bed is cute but my god, it is NOT easy to set up, the slats are almost impossible to put in. You have to have someone hold them in place, for the screws there’s no pilot holes took WAY longer than anytime I’ve spent on any ikea furniture.

The fact that you have to drill your own holes to put bed together (I have no drill). Of course missing one screw. It took way too long to put together, the quality not that great for the price point.

This bed is a joke. Assembly is terrible. You have to screw straight into the particle board with no pre drilled holes or markings. It’s hard to get the screw in perfectly and if it’s not perfect all of the next steps are impossible. I knew in the first five minutes that my work was cut out for me but MAN did I underestimate. I build things all the time, this was the worst thing I’ve ever attempted to build. That’s including things I’ve built from scratch.

My daughter loves the independence and freedom she has from the crib while feeling like a grown up in her words haha. It was easy to put together. We had a storkcraft crib as well and have enjoyed the nursery furniture made by this brand. I would recommend it to anyone. Very well made and doesn’t fall apart despite toddler abuse.

The quality seems to be really good and well designed, which is a huge plus for me. This bed does come with guardrails and that is what I love the most about it. Its gives me great sense of relief knowing my child is secure and safe in his little bed at night.

First of all, my daughter loves her new "Big Girl Bed", which made the transition from crib to bed a lot easier. It's very well made and very sturdy. It's really easy to assemble, I had it put together within 30 minutes. I love the guardrails, they look great while providing a much needed safety feature. It takes a regular crib mattress which is convenient and again helps with the transition. It has a gender neutral look so it doesn't matter what the gender, it will look good in any room and will match any decor style. I definitely, highly recommend this Bed, you won't be disappointed!
