A truely different fry pan !!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gotham Steel Pro Plus 8" Commercial Grade High Performance Reinforced Nonstick Coating Fry Pan. This is a great looking pan, that's made of heavy gauge Aluminum, has a removable silicone grip that can be removed so the pan can be used in the oven up to 500 degrees. The silicon grip is really nice if you don't remember to pick up a pot holder before handling the pan while cooking. The first reservation I have is not to use non stick sprays. Second : If you like scrambled eggs with cheese they stick to the sides while stirring, so you have to keep after the sides so nothing burns and falls into the eggs. Third: You cook on low to medium heat, so that makes the eggs stick to the sides longer. I also had the sticking to the side issue while making a sauce. The information with the pan states it's designed for cooking with or without oil or butter, however neither worked with the sauce. The pan is dishwasher safe, But it's recommended to hand wash for longer life, also use nylon or hemp fiber-ed sponges rather than a metal scour pad, and a non metal utensils for cooking. So my curiosity got the better of me and I did some research, "What is Gotham Steel" ? it's the brand. The pan is aluminum, with a stainless steel handle. The 'non-stick' coating is titanium and ceramic. There is no Teflon used in Gotham Steel pans, they are completely free of PFOA and PTFE. Given other non stick pans are generally more durable and nonstick than ceramic cookware, they also contain chemicals that are potentially dangerous to our health and environment, an extremely toxic to birds in the home. So I can live with the fact my cheesy scrambled eggs need to be cooked at a lower temp and they may need kept after to keep from burning to the sides. It's a much better option to me that other non stick cookware. The pan does take some extra scrubbing around the bolt heads, but does clean up very nicely.

High Quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great size pan to cook sauté or cook small meals. I like that it's nonstick. It's not recommended that you use cooking spray on this pan- but I mostly cook with butter or olive oil anyway. The removable silicone grip makes this pan so versatile! I can start a frittata on the stovetop and then take off the silicone grip, and finish it in the oven. Great quality pan!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Gotham Steel Pro 8" non-stick fry pan is ideal for a single meal. I use mine for cooking my breakfast in the morning and it does not stick. It is made of heavy gauge aluminum. I like the silicone grip that is on the handle so that you don't have to use a pot holder. That makes it very convenient. You can also use this skillet in the oven without the silicone grip up to 500°. It is also dishwasher safe.

Works great for eggs or anything that is a smaller portion or a single serve portion which I completely appreciate instead of having to get out all of my big pans for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gotham pro+ 8 inch frying pan is non stock. It has a heavy-gauge aluminum bottom and removable silicone grip. This frying pan cooks well, like it stated non stick! I love using my fry pan, I use it almost daily now. It’s not to big nor two small when cooking for three. This pan is also oven safe up to 500 degrees, but without the silicon grip. You can also use it on a gas, electric, ceramic, halogen, or induction stove. Another great thing about this pan is that it’s dishwasher safe! I love just throwing things in my dishwasher so reading this feature made me supper happy.

Best eggs made on this fry pan
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this fry pan about a week ago and it’s been amazing. I always use the smaller pans to make eggs for my kids and pancakes. The pan is nonstick which is awesome! Did not have any issues using this pan and I know other people wouldn’t either. I would most definitely go out and buy this brand of fry pans.

Great pot
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would recommend using bar keepers friend cleaner when cleaning these pots and pans so they don’t rust. When using copper anything you have to know how to take care of them. Although this pot isn’t non stick, I haven’t encountered any issues with sticking just as long as you clean them properly. It is just stunning and works great.

Too many restrictions
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this pan because it's NSF certified. Unfortunately, there are too many downsides for it to be useful. You cannot use cooking sprays. You cannot cook using high heat (like you would use for searing). You can wash it in the dishwasher, but not if you want it to last.
