Q: How does lap shade attach ? Ring at the top screw on or lower ring hugs part of light socket?

  • A: The Brodie Floor Lamp has a harp piece that is placed on the saddle, the lamp shade attaches this piece which is threaded down by the finial on top of the shade. I don't know exactly which ring you are referring to, but the lampshade sits more on the top.

Shape is not like the photo. There are no angles and it’s changed the whole lamp.
