Like nothing, with a tiny bit of glimmer
Waste of money. Not as advertised. It shows as kind of purple-blue, yet none of that shows on your toes. If you aren't in the sun, it looks like you are wearing nothing. In the sun there's a trace of pink, but no blue or purple to be found. Completely false advertising. It woud make a decent topcoat over another color, maybe a white or pink.

This is my favorite shimmer/glitter polish from Essie. It’s more of a clear kinda pink tinted polish with purple and pink sparkles (not the glitter that is hard to take off) and I love how it looks when you try it on other nail polish shades. I’m using (Hi Maintenance & Astral Aura from Essie:))

I noticed the majority of the positive reviews are from a product promotion. Here’s a review from someone who didn’t get this for free: don’t waste your money, or at least not on the Cosmic Chrome color. It chips within a day, with or without a base/top coat, whether I wear it alone or layer it on top of another color. I an being generous by rating it 2 stars because the effect is actually really pretty and the formula goes on smoothly and streak-free. Other than that, do not ruin a good manicure with this polish that’s more sensitive than an eggshell.

Adds a gorgeous pink shimmer to any manicure
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Astral aura is the perfect name for this nail polish because this special effects top coat adds the most magical effect to any nails. Especially over pink nails, this top coat adds this extra wow effect that I’m obsessed with. The nail polish dries very quickly, it took around 2 minutes to dry and my favorite part is that it actually is very chip resistant! I used it on top of a layer of a plain pink polish from essie and it lasted a full week before chipping which is 2x as much as any other brand I tried. The top coat has beautiful shimmers of pink and red in it, and it looks amazing as it glitters in the light. Overall, this top coat is so easy to use and instantly amplifies any plain nail polish to something looking magical!

Cute shimmery duochrome topcoat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shade to me feels like the grown up version of the fun glittery top coats I used to wear with huge chunks of glitter in my early 20’s. But more subtle and refined. I love the blue pink reflects! You can layer this and amp up the coverage of the sparkle and shine - I used flash to try to show that here. Left is 1 coat & right is 2. Texture and application was great. Dried quickly!

Astral Aura
A sheer, shimmer/glitter nail polish is my go-to, and this couldn’t be better. I’ve been searching for a pink glitter polish, but I’ve only seen silver or gold glitters in a sheer pink base. Essie knocked this one out of the park for me. I love the subtle flash of pink. The formula is long-lasting, especially compared to other glitters/shimmers, which can flake off within a few days. It’s a durable, smooth finish. I worried about drying time which was mentioned in some reviews, but I didn’t have any problem. I can’t wait to try more colors!

Shimmer and shine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a gorgeous shade of pink! The shimmer is stunning. I liked the shape of the brush as it made the nail polish very easy to apply. The scent wasn't overpowering, which I appreciated. I like that it has vegan ingredients. I used 3 coats in order to achieve the look I was going for. But this would also work great as a top coat to add some shimmer to a flat color.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Essie ethereal espape in astral aura is a bubble pink special effects nail polish. When combined with an Essie nail color gives a beautiful Halo graphic, and light reflective finish. It's shimmering and glittery, and sparkles like pearls. After applying the Essie( here to stay) base coat, I combined this glittery purple to my Expressive quick dry color Power Moves (deep pink). I finished with Essie Quick dry too cost for that extra shine. Both the special effects polish and nail color combined gave a special effects multi dimensional look on my nails. I couldn't quit looking at them, and believe me the special effects go unnoticed. I received many compliments from family and friends. The ethereal espape can be used with any of the colors from the Essie collection. It can be used alone or layered as well. It's nail art at It's finest, and kudos to Essie for creating this beautiful special effects nail polish. It's highly pigmented, and is a Vegan formula. I totally recommend this product, and you won't be dissatisfied.
