Sad
Can’t believe Target has discontinued this cooking sauce. It was the BEST verde sauce I have ever used. Hope they bring it back. It was delicious and great for quick dinners. The verde salsa is too watery and just average.

Makes a quick tasty meal!
This is a tasty sauce! Added shrimp, black beans, tomatoes, and corn and served over yellow rice. Easy, yummy meal. Has a bit of spice but not too much. Perfect for a quick dinner. Husband even commented how much he liked it as well.

Easy dinner prep helper!
The easiest and tastiest Mexican cooking sauce in one jar! I added it to my chicken and cooked then in a crackpot and was an amazing success! Easy dinner prep the whole family loved it. No bad after taste, a staple in my pantry now.

Spicy flavor!
I received this from Target’s Hey Bullseye program in exchange for my honest, unbiased review. My family seemed to enjoy this. They commented that it had nice flavor. They usually like spicy things (I do not). This has just the right amount of spices for them!

Surprisingly flavorful
I had reservations about getting a sauce from a jar. I assumed that I would need to add seasoning to a bland sauce. This sauce was surprisingly flavorful with depth. The acid, heat, and salt were well balanced. We made this with chicken and onions with a side of rice. It was great and we would buy again!

Good taste
This sauce tastes great. It has a little kick to it which I wasn’t expecting since I said it was a mild sauce, but we made it this week with some chicken and some corn and cilantro and rice and was really good

Quality cooking sauce but hotter then mild
This tastes like a gourmet cooking sauce from a higher end store where it would cost a lot more. This sauce is a great value. I added 1lb of ground chicken to it and it was the perfect amount of protein. I served it over rice and felt it was a decent portion for 2 adults. It may not be enough for adults that like larger portions. This definitely has a lot more then mild heat. I used a lot of rice to dilute it down and it still was pretty spicy. Good for tacos?
I had high hopes for this salsa. I wanted to know what it would taste like by itself with tortilla chips and on a taco. I would say that it is better on a taco because it blends with the other flavors well. As a standalone salsa with chips, it’s missing the taste of freshness I like. It very much tastes like a jarred salsa with no authenticity. This would be good in a pinch, but definitely would not be my first choice.

Delucious
Deliciously mild poblano chili Verde cooking sauce. Perfectly seasoned and pairs well with cooking chicken. I also live using it with green peppers and onions to give them a caramelized flavor. Mom tested, mom approved

Lots of delicious flavors
I recently tried Good & Gather's Poblano Chili Verde Mexican Cooking Sauce, and it was a hit! I browned three chicken breasts and added the sauce along with some leftover white rice. The sauce has a mild heat but is packed with flavor. It was perfect for a quick and tasty dinner, and I can see it being versatile for other dishes too—I'd definitely use it to make enchiladas or mix it with ground beef for nachos. This is a pantry staple I'll be keeping on hand!

Poblana chili Verde sauce
Was really excited to try out this Mexican inspired poblano chili Verde sauce. I love spicy food as well as Mexican, so I put this on pulled rotisserie chicken. It was absolutely delicious and I served it with tortillas. It was on the spicy side, but I don’t mind that. Hoping to try this again as the jar wasn’t very large so we didn’t get much out of it. Would be good on enchiladas as well. I received an incentive to write this review.

Great mild sauce for chicken
This is a cool sauce for a mild Mexican style dish. It is only mildly spicy when hot. It is of a thinner consistency and gives you room for reducing and cooking. It is not overpowering at all. Worked amazingly well on chicken and potatoes, making it a stew like dish. I imagine it’d be great for a slow cooker recipe too. The green color doesn’t really show when incorporated. Yummy Mexican inspired poblano sauce
This Mexican inspired poblano chili verde cooking sauce was much better than I had expected. The sauce itself was quite chunky. I cooked some pieces of chicken breast and simmered it in this sauce. I cooked one pound of chicken and it was the perfect amount of sauce to go with the chicken. Even my picky eater of a husband enjoyed the meal. Super win! Overall, it was tasty. Easy way to add flavor to a dish
Great flavor. Easy way to add Mexican spice to a dish. We cooked pork in it, which was great on its own as well as in a taco or burrito. The sauce thins with cooking but thickens again if you let it cool. There is some heat to it, but it is mild. Lime juice and cilantro are great complements to add to complete the dish. We found that it had about 4 servings worth, but it could be more or less depending on how much sauce you want to eat. I received an incentive to write this review.
