there are many scratches on the furniture. and also the drawer lock system inside don't let the drawers run smoothly.

I was so hopefully that the reviews were wrong. This dresser could be so cute but truly the worst instructions as well as the worst design. I’ve put together a lot of furniture in my time and this one is the absolute worst. Do not recommend.

Assembly was confusing and the locking drawers are a pain to figure out, also did not realize how shallow the drawers were.

Do not buy this! The instructions are as bad as the reviews say. Item arrived cracked and we were missing screws. Target won't issue a refund unless we send the whole dresser back.

The instructions skip about 3 steps, which led to a lot of guessing on the buyers part. You will need a drill as not all of the required holes for screws are there on the base and drawer pieces.

The dresser, once built is very beautiful and matches the rest of our room decor. However, the instructions and images were terrible. It took 5 hours to build this dresser. We had to take out nails and put them back on, because the instructions were so confusing. Some things were labeled wrong. We don’t know which nails we should use, so we just guessed.

Drawers small no words on directions very hard to put together

The dresser looks great and works great. The drawers glide easily and stay closed. This piece also fits nicely in the specific place we wanted to put it, note the dimensions, the drawers are not very deep. My only complaint is from my BF who assembled it. It took him two whole evenings because he got so frustrated he gave up and had to try again the next day. He said the instructions were unclear and the parts weren’t labeled well. He also said some holes were not drilled so beware if you don't have a drill.

I will start with a positive: Once we put the dresser together, I was happy with how it looked. However, that came after 6 hours of confusion, effort, and assembly from me and my partner. The directions are sparse (once you are able to interpret them) and the images are nearly illegible. The many screws that come with the dresser are not labeled, so we had to best guess which ones to use at any given time. On top of that, some of the pieces--including one of the drawer faces--came scratched. I would strongly caution anyone against ordering this dresser unless they have skilled carpentry experience.
