I had this product 15 years ago when it first came out. The size of the bottle and color were both much better back then. It now feels watery, and the color muted. Save your money. It's not worth the cost anymore. It used to be!

I'm not sure about the lipstain part but I use this as a blush. As a makeup gremlin this is 100% the closest blush I've ever seen that comes to an honest to god natural flush. Its also buildable for more color, very lightweight- legit can't even feel it.

i LOVE benetint. i cannot lie. it's the perfect summery, natural, slightly sunburnt BUT IN A GOOD WAY cheek tint and it looks phenomenal as a lip tint. and it even smells good. what more could you ask for?

Based on reviews, I really wanted to love this product as much as others have. The difficulty I have had is that it is just too watery. That said, it immediately seeps into any fine lines around the mouth. Red lines going from the lips is not a pretty sight! Less expensive brands are thicker and do not do line seepage. I was crazy about the taste but could be me.

I have been searching for a good lip stain, and the ulta person recommended this one. I have to say I will never recommend this to anyone. It is the worst Lip stain I have ever tried. It doesn't last and it tries your lips extremely. To the point where you feel like you are thirsty the whole time. It is awful. Do not buy.

not really a scam except for the price. dude, almost $30 for a small little thing of lip/cheek tint?? it still confuses me why the makeup industry puts these pricy prices on everything. but anyways, yes i do like it. the color can be pretty extreme, so be careful when your putting it on.

This is and has been one of my go-to products for nearly 10 years. I fell in love with it when the applicator was still a little brush, before they changed it to the doefoot applicator. The one thing I will say about it: it does not play nice with liquid or cream foundation. I will typically apply this to moisturized, sunscreened skin and blend out with my fingers, then pop a bit on my lips for some color balance. Sometimes I'll apply a light powder foundation on top of it. But this is NOT a product I have ever had success with over liquid/cream foundation. Once it is on your skin and dried down, she will stay put all day. It's my favorite for days when I don't want to really wear any makeup, but still want a little bit of color, maybe will still do my brows and some light mascara. A personal favorite to bring with on beachy vacations too, when you want to feel just a teeny bit more put together.

Unique, iconic, but isn’t the right shade for my cheeks. Looks really nice on the lip. If you have dry lips, definitely exfoliate beforehand and follow-up after application with a gloss or oil to avoid dryness.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't have luck with this stain. I usually find stains to be tough to apply, and I found this one to be no exception. The color also didn't really work for my olive toned skin. That said, this stain was fine and I'm sure would work for someone with lighter skin and lips that lend themselves to easier application. As usual with Benefit, I did like the packaging.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the lip and cheek stain. I got the color shade dark cherry and it's amazing. The texture is more like water and light. It is easy to apply with the brush. It gives a nice color to the lips without drying or making it oily. Also its easy to apply on cheeks and it gives a nice natural color to the cheeks . Loved the cute little bottle packaging and it's easy to carry on purse. This product serves as dual purpose and the color stays long.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lip stain is gorgeous. I hadn't tried one before and was really impressed. I do wish it would stay on longer with drinking and or eating but it's still nice. It leaves your lips really soft. Will be using this as a staple!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extremely happy with this product. It's an absolute must for the lips. It is durable and lasted all day through eating, the gym, and drinking coffee and tea. The cheek application was a bit tricky, I won't use it in my cheeks unless I'm in a pinch. It has minimal scent, I have extremely sensitive skin and it didn't irritate it. It looks very dark when you apply it, but I simply put it on my lips let it sit for a few minutes and then wiped my lips with a wet paper towel. I just used a clear chapstick for the rest of the day and had the perfect level of color.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This looks a bit weird on your skin if you have big pores when it's first applied, you have to be quick with rubbing it in because it will dry fast, it does look better on my lips — It has a nice pigment especially when it has settled on to my lips for a while and it does stain your fingers but you can wash it off with water and soap
