Phenomenal smoker!
My outdoor smoker needed some repairs, so I decided to give this a try for convenience. I'm not disappointed as it performed BETTER than my old king smoker! We did fix the outdoor smoker, but now we find ourselves using this one far more. The Wi-Fi and app eliminate the need to continuously monitor the temperature ofwhatever I am smoking, to unlike the old one where I had to manually adjust the temperature every 5 to 10 minutes. I love that is able to hold everything I need.

I've wanted one for a year.
I've used it 4 times in 3 months and am still getting acquainted with it (Smoke setting). Ribs the first time and a BB roast the second. Both with the supplied wood pellets. Yesterday I went it salmon and a small pork tenderloin with apple. So far everything has been very good. It appears to be very well constructed and once I quit trying to over think things easier to operate. I haven't venture Into connectivity but that will be next. I believe it's a keeper. Bill

Great Smoker
Great smoker. Have already done pastrami and chub bologna. Brisket next. No smoke smell at all. Hold temperature well.

It doesn't smoke up the house. Having separate controls for the smoke and the cooking box gives great flexibility in your cooking allowing for lower temperature in the box and higher smoke if desired

Does a great job of smoking, but ...
Capacity is OK, connectivity is good if you have a router nearby. Get an extender if you don't because it's nearly impossible to work without the phone app. The interface is clumsy at best. It does a great job of smoking, however. Biggest problem is that the water bin will not stay closed and if you don't watch it, the smoker will turn itself off until you close the bin. I have to wedge something against it to make it stay. Poor fit and finish.

When properly filled with fresh water, the waste bin safely collects and extinguishes used pellets, making cleanup easier and safer. To install it correctly, place the metal waste bin inside the plastic carrier with the fill lines facing the back, then slide the carrier into the opening below the controls and push it in firmly until it is fully seated and secure. If the issue persists, we recommend calling our small appliance team at 1-877-813-3537. We are going to share your comments regarding the unit's interface with our product team for review.

We recommend resetting your indoor smoker by disconnecting power from the unit for 2 - 3 minutes and reconnecting power. If this reset does not revert the unit back to normal operating function, you will need to take advantage of your manufacturer's limited warranty. If you don’t have outdoor space this is the next best thing to an outdoor smoker. The features are great and the integrated temperature probe and ability to cook until temp and then hold the meat warm is great for overnight or cooks that run long. Would recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second one I’ve had. My first one stopped working properly shortly after getting it. I received my first one as a gift and the original purchaser couldn’t find the receipt but after a back in forth with GE and a review left GE reached out and made things right. This little smoker is great to have. Now yes it’s small but it’s manageable. Absolute love having it in my arsenal!!

My favorite appliance
I am obsessed with my indoor smoker. I use it inside my RV and it does not raise the temperature or fill it with smoke. I can smoke two whole chickens at the same time so it has a large capacity. I love that I can set the temperature probe and forget. It does all the work and lets me know when it's finished.
